Abstract: An apparatus is comprised of a securement base member and a self-suspending system. The securement base member includes a top end, a bottom end on an opposite side of the securement base member from the top end, a first side, a second side on an opposite side of the securement base member from the first side, a third side, a fourth side on an opposite side of the securement base member from the third side, and an opening disposed within the top end, the opening to accept a fastener. The self-suspending system is coupled to the top end of the securement base member, the self-suspending system suspending the securement base member below two portions of a surface having a slot therebetween.

Abstract: In general, the following disclosure is directed to a play yard (or crib) that features a foldable tubular frame configured to accept and support a full-size crib mattress and preferably surround the same with breathable mesh panels. The crib includes four feet, four side rails, for vertical posts coupled to different associated feet of the four feet, four top rails coupled between different associated posts of the four vertical posts, and support rails between the four vertical posts and configured to support a mattress. Each of the four side rails has first and second angled ends disposed in an associated receptacle in different associated feet of the four feet.

When the first mattress is folded and the pocket portion is connected to the first mattress, the accommodation space of the pocket portion is unfolded to form a storage space. Abstract: A method of assembling a portable fenced-in ball playing area that includes a plurality of panels that have an upward slot on one end of the panel and a downward slot at the other end of the panel. The panels are assembled into a polygon shaped pit, such as for a Ga-ga pit, by fitment of upward and downward slots on adjacent panels. No tools are necessary for assembly. The panels can include hand holes for easy carrying. Some panels may have a top indentation or recess to assist children in entering or leaving the fenced-in ball playing area, such as a Ga-ga pit. These panels can be reversed so that the recess is facing downward to form a goal opening for a game using a ball, puck or the like.

The frame includes multiple leg support assemblies and multiple X-frame assemblies that couple adjacent leg support assemblies together. The X-frame assembly is positioned near the top of the frame when the playard is unfolded such that the X-frame assembly functions as a top rail to mechanically reinforce the playard. In this manner, the playard does not include a separate compliant or rigid top rail or a bottom support structure, thus reducing the number of parts for manufacture. Additionally, the playard includes a single latch mechanism to maintain the playard in the unfolded configuration. The lock assembly and housing are configured and adapted to require the locking hinge assembly to be lifted to effect limited relative motion between the housing and the proximal portions of the tubular rails prior to unlocking the lock assembly and permitting greater relative motion between the housing and proximal portions of the tubular rails. This provides greater safety against the hinge accidentally being folded or being folded by a child.

Abstract: A foldable structure includes: an upper assembly forming an upper portion of the structure; a base assembly forming a lower portion of the structure; a centrally-located hub assembly operatively connected to the base assembly; and a post extending from each corner of the upper assembly to a corner of the base assembly. The upper assembly includes a plurality of arm assemblies. At least one latching mechanism is provided at each corner of the upper assembly extending from an upper portion of at least one of the posts to a portion of at least one of the arm assemblies.
