Abstract: A liquid herbicidal composition is provided, comprising: a. 20 to 35 percent by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, of a water-soluble herbicidal ingredient; b. a C12-C16 alkyl ether sulfate; c. an organic solvent; and d. an alkyl polyglucoside. The composition is stable; i.e., it occurs in a substantially continuous, single phase at temperatures as low as ?20° C. It also has a viscosity of no more than 2000 cps at temperatures as low as 0° C.
Abstract: Aqueous concentrates and aqueous compositions (e.g., agrochemical) containing a water-insoluble liquid antifoam agent (e.g., liquid silicone-containing antifoam agent) are disclosed. The water-insoluble liquid antifoam agent is incorporated into the concentrate or composition as a solution of the water-insoluble liquid antifoam agent solubilized in an organic solvent (e.g., isopropyl myristate, butyl cocoate or butyl laurate).

Abstract: The present invention provides non-coding regulatory element polynucleotide molecules isolated from the At.PLD? gene or the At.HVA22e gene of Arabidopsis thaliana and useful for expressing transgenes in plants. The invention further discloses compositions, polynucleotide constructs, transformed host cells, transgenic plants and seeds containing the Arabidopsis thaliana regulatory polynucleotide sequences, and methods for preparing and using the same.

Abstract: The present invention relates to stable glyphosate formulations with improved efficacy by a highly effective alkoxylated alkylamine quaternary surfactant at a very low used level. The alkoxylated alkylamine quaternary surfactant is compatible in all salts of glyphosate formulations (including potassium and ammonium) EVEN AT VERY HIGH CONCENTRATION (470-600 g a.e./l).

Abstract: Compositions and methods related to transgenic high oleic acid/ALS inhibitor-tolerant soybean plants are provided. Specifically, the present invention provides soybean plants having a DP-305423-1 event which imparts a high oleic acid phenotype and tolerance to at least one ALS-inhibiting herbicide. The soybean plant harboring the DP-305423-1 event comprises genomic/transgene junctions having at least the polynucleotide sequence of SEQ ID NO:8, 9, 14, 15, 20, 21, 83 or 84. The characterization of the genomic insertion site of the DP-305423-1 event provides for an enhanced breeding efficiency and enables the use of molecular markers to track the transgene insert in the breeding populations and progeny thereof. Various methods and compositions for the identification, detection, and use of the soybean DP-305423-1 events are provided.

Abstract: There is disclosed a herbicidal composition containing (a) 2-?4-chloro-2-fluoro-5-(n-pentyloxycarbonylmethoxy)phenyl!-4,5,6,7-tetrahy dro-2H-isoindole-1,3-dione and (b) at least one selected from the group consisting of N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, (2-amino-4-methylphosphinobutyryl)alanylalanine, DL-homoalanin-4-yl(methyl)phosphinic acid and salts thereof. Also disclosed is a method for controlling undesired weeds by application of the herbicidal composition.
Abstract: Disclosed are solid, phytoactive, N-phosphonomethyl-N-carboxymethyl compositions. Also disclosed are processes for the preparation of such compositions by(a) forming an initial mixture comprising a phytoactive N-phosphonomethyl-N-carboxymethyl compound, a solvent and a molten surfactant, the surfactant being solid at ambient temperatures;(b) removing solvent from the initial mixture to form a final mixture at a temperature above the melting point of the surfactant;(c) cooling the final mixture to a temperature below the melting point of the surfactant to form a N-phosphonomethyl-N-carboxymethyl composition which is solid at ambient temperatures; and(d) processing said composition into particulate form, such as pellets, flakes, granules, or powders.
Abstract: The invention relates to defoamed aqueous solutions of surfactants and to low-foam concentrated liquid preparations of plant protection agents, which contain sulfato- or sulfonato-containing surfactants as wetting agents and surfactants from the group comprising the perfluoro(C.sub.6 -C.sub.18)alkylphosphinic acids and/or -alkylphosphonic acids and/or their salts, as defoamer.
