Abstract: Disclosed are hair conditioning shampoo compositions comprising(a) from about 5% to about 50%, by weight, of an anionic surfactant component;(b) from about 0.1% to about 10%, by weight, of a dispersed, insoluble, nonionic silicone hair conditioning agent, said silicone hair conditioning agent comprising a non-volatile, insoluble, nonionic silicone fluid component;(c) from about 0.2% to about 10%, by weight, of a soluble cationic, amino or quaternary ammonium conditioning surfactant having a cationic nitrogen atom and at least one N-radical containing one or more hydrophilic moieties that are within 4 carbon atoms (inclusive) of a cationic nitrogen, said hydrophilic moieties being selected from the group consisting of alkoxy, polyoxyalkylene, alkylamido, hydroxyalkyl, and alkylester moieties, and combinations thereof; and(d) an aqueous carrier.

Abstract: An aqueous liquid cleansing composition, packaged in a foamer container, said composition comprising:(A) from 5 to 50% by weight of an anionic carboxylate surfactant; and(B) from 0.1 to 5% by weight of a salt.The aqueous liquid cleansing composition of the present invention shows an extremely low viscosity increase at a low temperature and can be easily pushed out from the foamer container even at a low temperature thus giving uniform foam. It is particularly suitable for a skin cleanser.

Abstract: Described are a tris(3-aminopropyl)amine derivative represented by the following formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R represents a C.sub.1-24 alkyl or alkenyl group which may have --OH, A represents a C.sub.1-6 alkylene or alkenylene group which may have --OH, --COOH or --SO.sub.3 H, Y.sup.1 represents --COOH, --SO.sub.3 H or --OSO.sub.3 H , Y.sup.2 represents --OH, --OSO.sub.3 H or --OCO--A--COOH and n stands for 0 or 1, or a salt or quaternized product thereof; and a detergent composition containing the same. The compound according to the present invention has low skin or hair irritation, has excellent foaming power and imparts favorable touch feeling to the skin or the like.
