  • Patent number: 5733858
Abstract: Solutions comprising at least one polyamino disuccinic acid and one or more polyamino monosuccinic acids are useful in gas conditioning (preferably as the iron chelate). The copper chelates are also useful in electroless copper plating. Another aspect of the invention includes the use of the aminosuccinic acid mixtures in laundry detergent compositions.

  • Patent number: 5703031
Abstract: A granular laundry composition is disclosed which comprises a source of available-oxygen, a stabilizer like chelant together with an alkali metal salt of silicate. Such compositions allow to produced wash solutions wherein the bleaching activity is retained upon longer periods of time. Optionally said compositions may further comprise a soil suspender and be formulated so as to allow to keep the pH of the wash solution below 9.5 and thereby boost the cleaning performance on particulate soil (clay).

  • Patent number: 5616280
Abstract: A bleaching composition for cellulosic materials such as paper pulp, cotton and cotton blends. The chemical system of the present invention includes a mixture of sodium hydroxide, optical brighteners and an enhanced hydrogen peroxide composition including a silicate-free stabilizer. In the preferred embodiment, the silicate-free stabilizer includes a magnesium salt; an aminoalkylphosphonic acid; dipicolinic acid; and the balance water. The resulting textile goods are soft, absorbent, silicate-free with a Hunter Scale whiteness of greater than about 85. Because a silicate-free stabilizer is used, low levels of extractable solids are obtained.
