  • Patent number: 11268046
Abstract: Water-soluble refill dose articles have a water-soluble film defining a first compartment enclosing a concentrated cleanser composition. The concentrated liquid cleanser composition comprises an anionic surfactant, 0.1% by weight to 10% by weight water, and 20% or less by weight glycol. The anionic surfactant contributes to the % by weight water, and adding the article to water at a 1:1 to 1:20 ratio defines a cleanser volume and produces a liquid cleanser that is dispensable through a pump that forms foamed cleanser and has a viscosity within a range of 1 cps to 1000 cps. Kits having a dispenser and the water soluble refill dose article are disclosed that have a pump that can foam the liquid cleanser.

  • Publication number: 20150024991
Abstract: A composition comprising a peroxy salt, fumed silica, and a non-aqueous, water miscible material. These compositions exhibit improved storage stability relative to compositions lacking fumed silica. The peroxy salt is preferably sodium percarbonate. The preparation of the peroxy salt compositions, such as sodium percarbonate compositions described herein, includes non-aqueous liquids as well as solids. The compositions surprisingly, and unexpectedly, exhibit acceptable chemical stability at room temperature in sealed containers. The improved stability is thought to be due to the inclusion of fumed silica in the non-aqueous compositions described herein. The tendency of the composition to decompose in the container is notably reduced and even eliminated, compared to compositions lacking fumed silica.

  • Patent number: 6815403
Abstract: A new and improved toilet drain composition and method of using is disclosed for use in disinfecting and decalcifying. The toilet drain composition comprises a phosphoric acid derivative admixed with paradichlorobenzene and a diluent. The phosphoric acid derivative may be at a concentration ranging from 0.0000001 to 25% by weight. The paradichlorobenzene 14 may be at a concentration ranging form 0.0000001 to 25% by weight. The diluent may be at a concentration ranging from 0 to 90% by weight. Optional elements such as, an anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant, a dinintegration rate regulator, a complexing agent, a peroxy compound, a filler, a fragment essential oil, a dye, a bleaching agent, and a binder may be added to the toilet drain composition. The phase of the composition may be liquid, solid or semi-solid. One preferred configuration of the semi-solid block shape is that it has a series of nested concentric ridges defining a bull's eye target.

  • Patent number: 4941185
Abstract: A method and apparatus for processing a first (e.g. half-tone) image constituted by a second (e.g. continuous tone) image convolved with a periodic (screen) function, to produce the second image is described. The invention is particularly suited to handling digitally represented half-tone images. The apparatus comprises a microcomputer (17) for determining digital data defining a frequency filter characteristic adapted to suppress the frequency or frequencies of the periodic function. A fast Fourier transform circuit (11) transforms the image data into the frequency domain and a multiplier (12) multiplies the transformed data by the frequency characteristic stored in a store (13). The resultant multiplied data is inversely transformed back into the image of spatial domain by a fast Fourier transform circuit (14) to generate the second image.
