Abstract: The present invention is a sprayable gel cleaning composition and a method of making said sprayable gel cleaning composition. The gel stays on the stained surface until it is wiped off, unlike non-gelatinous compositions that have a very short surface contact time. The active agents of the sprayable gel cleaning composition are in contact with the stain for a longer period of time than other cleaners. The sprayable gel cleaning composition can be used to remove household and industrial spots and stains that are present on walls, cabinets, stove tops, doors, and trim. In addition, this invention can be used to clean concrete and brick, and remove caulk and paint from surfaces, as well as remove bug and tar stains present on automobiles, trucks, and other machinery and surfaces. The gelatinous composition may be water-based or solvent-based.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions comprising photosenitizer that can be used to provide lipophilic fluids with bleaching capabilities, lipophilic fluid cleaning compositions having bleaching capabilities and processes of making and using same. Such compositions provide the cleaning benefits of typical lipophilic solvents and additional cleaning benefits that include bleaching.

Abstract: Disclosed is an active and water-soluble natural detergent composite using soybean fatty acid and lecithin, and a method of producing the same. The method comprises agitating a mixture consisting of a natural vegetable fatty acid, lecithin, alkanolamide, and an organic solvent such as higher alcohol or polyhydric alcohol, saponifying the mixture to form microscopic detergent particles moving according to Brownian movement, and controlling the resulting detergent in terms of moisture and pH to allow the resulting detergent to be in a neutral or alkaline state. The detergent composite comprises 14 to 22 parts by weight of soybean fatty acid, 2 to 4 parts by weight of lecithin, 6 to 14 parts by weight of alkanolamide, 15 parts by weight of isooctylphenoxy polyoxyethoxy ethanol, 42 parts by weight of distilled water, 10 parts by weight of p-tert-oxyphenoxy polyethoxy ethanol, and 3 parts by weight of ethylene diamine tetracetic acid.
Abstract: The invention provides liquid automatic dishwashing detergents (LADDs) that contain a detergent enzyme and have a pH value less than 7.0. Such LADDs can lack phosphate builders, chlorine bleaches, and alkali, each of which is undesirable from the perspective of human and environmental safety. In addition, the invention provides methods for cleaning tableware.

Abstract: A process for restoring magnetic recording tape damaged by “Sticky Shed” syndrome cleans magnetic tapes of the Backcoating which is causing their eventual degradation and destruction. The Backcoating is first removed in a multi-step process. A liquid cleaner, such as isopropyl alcohol, is applied to the Backcoating to dissolve it from and clean it off the Mylar Base. Before the liquid cleaner is applied, steps are taken to prevent the cleaner fluid from getting onto the Oxide side of the tape. The chemical cleaning is done as quickly as possible. The second step is to dry clean the Base surface of the tape to remove the remaining solvent and the debris of any remaining Backcoating. Then, the Oxide side of the tape is given a dry, non-chemical cleaning to remove the residue of contamination of the Backcoating which was deposited on the Oxide side of the tape as the result of physical contact with the Backcoating from the storage on the reel of tape.
