Liquid Or Paste Composition Patents (Class 510/537)
  • Patent number: 5549840
Abstract: An improvement is described in the liquid crystal composition or the microemulsion compositions, which is especially effective in the removal of oily and greasy soil and having an evidenced grease release effect, contains an anionic detergent, an ethoxylated glycerol type compound, a hydrocarbon ingredient, and water which comprises the use of a water-insoluble odoriferous perfume as the essential hydrocarbon ingredient in a proportion sufficient to form a dilute o/w microemulsion composition containing, by weight, 1% to 20% of an anionic surfactant, 0.1 to 50% of a cosurfactant, 0.1% to 20% of an ethoxylated glycerol type compound, 0.4% to 10% of perfume and the balance being water.

  • Patent number: 5543072
Abstract: There is provided a mild detergent toilet bar (syndet bar) composition containing from at least 25 percent up to about 65 percent by weight of synthetic surface active agents, which lathers, foams and wears well, exhibits minimal slushing and curd-forming properties in all types of water, possesses good plasticity and tactile properties while also being mild and non-injurious to the user's skin and readily processed with conventional soap-making equipment. The syndet bar compositions containa) from about 15 to 35 percent by weight of acyl esters of isethionic acid salts;b) at least one sulfosuccinate in an amount from about 10 to about 30 percent by weight wherein the weight ratio of said acyl isethionate esters to sulfosuccinate is 0.

  • Patent number: 5538672
Abstract: Water-containing, free-flowing and pumpable alkyl sulfate pastes having a viscosity, as measured at a shear rate of 10 s.sup.-1, of 5 Pa.s to 100 Pa.s and preferably 5 Pa.s to 50 Pa.s at temperatures of 50.degree. to 90.degree. C. which contain an alkyl sulfate corresponding to formula I:R.sup.1 --O--SO.sub.3 M.sup.1 (I)in which R.sup.1 is a linear or branched C.sub.12-22 alkyl radical and M.sup.1 is an alkali metal, ammonium, alkyl ammonium or hydroxyalkyl ammonium ion;an alkenyl sulfate corresponding to formula II:R.sup.2 --O--SO.sub.3 M.sup.2 (II)in which R.sup.2 is an alkenyl radical containing 16 to 22 carbon atoms and 1, 2 or 3 double bonds and M.sup.2 is an alkali metal, ammonium, alkyl ammonium or hydroxyalkyl ammonium ion;and a process for their preparation.

  • Patent number: 5531933
Abstract: Aqueous, liquid hard surface detergent compositions having improved cleaning and good filming/streaking characteristics contain specific polycarboxylate detergent builders at critical levels. Preferred formulas contain a zwitterionic/anionic detergent surfactant mixture at levels (e.g., from about 0.02 to about 15%); hydrophobic solvent; alkaline material, especially volatile alkaline materials comprising monoethanolamine or certain beta-amino-alkanol compounds; and salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid as the detergent builder in levels (e.g., from about 0.05% to about 0.5%, by weight of the composition).
