Each leg includes a plane that extends from a side of the web and is inclined relative to the web, and a cylinder is located at an edge of the leg that is spaced from the web. Various fittings can be used to engage at least one of the cylinders of the channel to fix the channel in position relative to a second, third and/or fourth channel to form the column, beam or rail. Further, select brackets can be used to attach together columns, beams and rails of the assembly.

Abstract: Components for use in the assembly and installation of a modular decking system, comprised of structural free floating piers which distributes loads of deck pad to ground, piers have a pad bearing surface and four uniformly placed receiver blocks which interlock with corresponding recesses at four pad corners, an interlocking cam passes through pad recesses at deck surface and locks to piers by rotating cam with custom designed tool. The system is designed to be assembled without permanent fasteners to allow for expansion, reconfiguration or relocation, or addition of traditional and contemporary deck accessories that engage and interlock with the piers, pads and cams. One ideal manufacturing method of one or any of the system components is compression molded post-consumer and/or industrial thermo-plastic waste.

Abstract: The present invention provides a structure constructed using PC members and a method of constructing the structure. In the present invention, each of PC wall members (10) of PC walls (1) has connection reinforcing bars (11) at predetermined positions. Each of PC slab members (20) of PC slabs (2) has open reinforcing bars (21), which protrude from the PC slab member (20). Supporting molds (3) are mounted to the PC wall members (10) at positions just below the connection reinforcing bars (11), so that the PC slab members (20) are placed on the supporting molds (3), such that the connection reinforcing bars (11) are overlapped with the corresponding open reinforcing bars (21) in slab areas, and connection concrete (4) is cast at a construction site such that the connection reinforcing bars (11) and the open reinforcing bars (21) are embedded in the connection concrete (4), thus integrating the PC walls (1) and the PC slabs (2) with each other.

Abstract: A virtual connector post (or customized wall module intersection) includes a variable angle connector assembled with a plurality of position retention mechanisms and a corresponding plurality of connector interfaces of corresponding wall modules. The virtual connector post can be varied for virtually any shape or design simply by varying the shape of the variable angle connector(s) used therein. In particular, the variable angle connector can be arbitrarily shaped so that the ultimately joined wall modules form a corresponding, non-standard angle, such as non-right angles between wall modules in a given partition. The variable angle connectors and corresponding position retention mechanisms can be securely fastened between multiple wall modules at any number of arbitrary points along the length of a partition.

The end wall panel is fabricated from metal sheet and consists of a plurality of upper flanges spaced apart from one another. The upper flanges are connected to lower flanges by a web section extending at an angle from the upper flange. Flange stiffeners also extend at an angle from the outermost upper flanges. The end wall panel provides increased strength in an arch-style steel building and can withstand critical wind loads without additional stiffeners. The end wall panel is also inexpensive to manufacture and install into an arch-style steel building.

Abstract: An adjustable wall system comprising horizontal and vertical members for forming a frame. Panels including mounting elements for being removably mounted to two adjacent vertical members of the frame thus forming a wall run. The vertical members include protrusions to be mounted by the mounting elements. The vertical and horizontal members may be provided with mutually mating locators. Surface mounting elements are provided to be mounted to a surface, the vertical members are mounted to these elements. A region of the vertical members is exposed between adjacent panels. This region can be used to mount display members and the like thereto or be used as a spacer. Levelers are used to bolt the freestanding wall runs to the floor. Perpendicular tabs on the horizontal members are used to connect them to other horizontal members creating dividing wall runs on straight wall runs. Angular or curved brackets are used to shape the wall run accordingly.

Abstract: The invention provides load-resisting segments (e.g., panels or frames for openings) for transmitting loads through a building structure. In the context of a wall, the load-resisting segments transmit shear loads downward to structural elements below the wall, such as to a building foundation. The load-resisting segments may comprise a truss configuration, i.e., an assembly of members forming a rigid framework. Each load-resisting segment can include web members and pairs of truss plates secured to sides of the segment to secure connections of the web members to each other and to other members. The wall segments can include beam-separation blocks that reduce truss plate failure by spacing apart the ends of two web members bearing against a chord or post to position the intersection point of the load paths of the web members with the load path of the chord or post.
