Having A Bight Portion Patents (Class 52/396.07)
  • Patent number: 9840814
Abstract: A system for creating a durable seal between adjacent horizontal panels, including those that may be curved or subject to temperature expansion and contraction or mechanical shear. The durable seal incorporates a plurality of ribs, a flexible member between the cover plate and the ribs, and may incorporate a load transfer plate to provide support to the rib from below, and/or foams of differing compressibilities.

  • Patent number: 9359770
Abstract: A system for mounting wall panels to an existing wall structure, includes wall panels, each formed by a main wall panel section and at least two bent end sections; fastening extrusions, each including a base section adapted to be secured to the existing wall structure and a rigid wall extending at an angle therefrom; and a latch arrangement for securing the wall panels to the rigid wall, the latch arrangement including a latch housing, a movable latch member mounted in the latch housing for either engaging within through openings of respective ones of the rigid wall and the bent end sections, or applying a force on each bent end section positioned against a respective rigid wall, and a force application member for moving the movable latch member into a position to cause locking of respective ones of the rigid wall and the bent end sections.

  • Patent number: 8943773
Abstract: A universal joint system, to be used in construction, for joining two or more cladding materials together. The joint system is configured to replace conventional caulks joints prone to failure due to short UV longevity or improper installation conditions. The joint system is comprises interlocking extrusions and rubber gasket extrusions along with supportive components. The joint system is configurable for both vertical and horizontal installations and can be used with any substrate finishes.

  • Patent number: 7506480
Abstract: A system and method are provided for forming expansion joints within artificial ground cover. An elongated expansion joint support is coupled with a length of expansion joint material. A lower end portion of the expansion joint support is shaped to engage a ground surface. The two structures may be coupled with one another in different positions to vary the resulting expansion joint height. The lower end portion of the expansion joint support may be shaped to have a ground engagement wall and to receive ground engagement spikes. No component parts need be removed from the system after the application of artificial ground cover adjacent thereto, thus permitting simultaneous application of ground cover on both sides of the expansion joint.

  • Patent number: 6751919
Abstract: A sealing element for the recessed seat of an expansion joint in a concrete structure having an elastomeric profile (20) formed by two longitudinal lateral flanges (21) to be fixed to the end edges of the concrete structure (11), and a central portion (22) formed by walls depending from said flanges and converging to a central area to be fitted inside the seat (12), and shaped to support the hydrostatic pressure upstream of the concrete structure (10). A flexible duct (30) is installed inside the seat (12) below the central portion central area and provided with radial bores (31) opened to the inside of the seat to allow the selective feeding of precatalyzed polymeric resin to the inside of the seat (12), after the elastomeric profile (20) has been mounted and affixed to the concrete structure (10). The tube can be separate from the profile, attached to the central area, or the central area can have a W shape and the tube be within the lower portion of the W.
