Abstract: A load bearing wall formwork system and method are disclosed. The load bearing wall formwork system comprises a unique clip assembly for joining two or more substantially planar structures, such as a wall panel, in a spaced apart manner and providing a space there between for placement of a flowable material. The clip assembly comprises a first clip member having a first side for attachment to the wall panel, a second side and an opening positioned between the first and second sides, as well as a second clip member, engageable with the first clip member, having a first side for attachment to a second wall panel, a second side and an opening positioned between the first and second sides. The openings provided in the first and second clip members are aligned when the clip members are engaged. A connecting member is insertable into the aligned openings of the first and second clip members, connecting the first and second clip members together.

Abstract: The invention relates to a reinforced concrete section (1, 23, 26–28) comprising two commercially available pre-cast floor elements (2, 3) of the same type. Each element consists of a substantially rectangular concrete slab (4, 21) and at least one lattice girder (5, 7) attached thereto. The two pre-cast floor elements are arranged in a laterally reversed manner so that their concrete slabs (4, 21) are situated parallel to and at a distance from each other and their lattice girders face one another. The pre-cast floor elements (2, 3) are fixedly attached to one another by their lattice girders (5–7). The reinforced concrete section (1, 23, 26–28) can be used with site-mixed concrete to rapidly produce a foundation for a building on the building site, without erecting the shuttering and dismantling the shuttering.
Abstract: An apparatus for forming precast modular units has at least two modular forms configured to be selectively arranged and interconnected in spaced-apart relation to one another, reinforcement members disposed in each of the modular forms, and connecting members each having a first end integrally connected to one of the reinforcement members and a second end extending from opposite side edges of each of the modular forms. Connectors releasably connect the second end of each of the connecting members of one of the modular forms to a corresponding connecting member of another one of the modular forms to integrally connect the modular forms to one another. A molding plate is configured to be arranged between the side edges of modular forms when the modular forms are connected to one another.
Abstract: A wall system utilizing a plurality of precast concrete panels so that a parallel inside wall and outside wall is created. Each panel of the plurality has a continuous slot on all four perimeter sides that mutually oppose slots on adjacent panels. A strip fits into the slot formed by the two abutting panels, thus aligning, reinforcing, and sealing the plurality. The outside wall is connected to the inside wall by one or more embedded protrusions from said opposite panels so that said protrusions overlap upon each other. The overlap is then fastened together by a chosen method, for example a bolt and nut which may include washers or spot welding areas of intersection yielding a rigid bridge between the opposite panels.
Abstract: A building block to be used in the construction of houses, buildings, gargages, sheds and the like, which is constructed of expanded, polystyrene beads. The building block is to be arranged with other similar building blocks in a vertically orientated, horizontally staggered relationship. Each building block is constructed of two parts which are adhesively secured together in a facing relationship. Each building block includes a pair of vertically aligned openings. When the building block is in the assembled, stacked relationship with other similar building blocks, there are a series of horizontally aligned openings to permit the conducting of rigid reinforcing rods between the blocks. Each building block includes within its upper surface and lower surface interlocking structure which is to interlock with other similar blocks when located in the stacked relationship.
