And Longitudinal Ridge Patents (Class 52/47)
  • Patent number: 11391038
Abstract: The present invention relates to using interlocking spacer braces between support members to construct wood and metal framed walls, floors and building trusses. Spacer braces have indentations, extensions, fingers that interlock horizontally, vertically or diagonally between support members. The spacer braces can form diagonal and lateral wall bracing, diagonal and vertical chords within building truss with either horizontally or vertical orientations, beams, hold-downs and shear walls. The spacer braces can be installed between wood or metal framing members.

  • Patent number: 9126602
Abstract: There is provided a roof for a vehicle where each one of its right and left side wall has at least a first and a second door opening. The roof structure comprises a lattice structure and an outer shell. The lattice structure has two pairs of longitudinal segments adapted to be located at a top portion of the first and second door openings and two diagonal segments. One diagonal segment extends from a first longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the first door opening in the right wall to a second longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the second door opening in the opposite wall. The other diagonal segment extends from a first longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the first door opening in the left wall to a second longitudinal segment adapted to be located at the second door opening in the opposite wall. The outer shell is placed atop the lattice structure and extends from a region proximate the front end to a region proximate the rear end of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6237505
Abstract: A large capacity car body for a pressure discharge railway hopper car has a plurality of end slope plates assemblies, each having a slope sheet, and a plurality of intermediate slope sheet units, each of inverted “V” shape. The intermediate slope sheet units and the end slope plates form the end walls of a plurality of hoppers. A crossridge frame is associated with each of the intermediate slope sheet units and together with the end frames supports side sheets and a top sheet. Top chord members and bottom chord members extend coextensively with and are welded to upper and lower edge portions of each side sheet. Edge portions of the top sheet overlap and are welded to upper leg portions of the two top chord members. The crossridge frames and chord members considerably increase the resistance of the side sheets and top sheet to deforming when the car body is pressurized during unloading.
