A plurality of generally planar surface panels are provided. Each panel has an integral interlocking member configured to mate with the coupling mechanism on the support rail. The elongated support rails are secured to primary structures, thereby extending the surface panels to form an aesthetically pleasing covered surface.

Abstract: A vibration isolating mounting clip which is used to mount a furring channel to a mounting surface, which is then further loaded with a finishing substrate via the furring channel consists of a resilient bent metal strip. The resilient bent metal strip has a first end and an opposing second end, and a transition portion shaped to fit the furring channel. Through different aspects of the invention either the first end, or the first and second end is mounted to the mounting surface. The resilient bent metal strip has a stiffness and shape such that when the furring channel is positioned in the resilient bent metal strip, and the resilient bent metal strip is mounted to the mounting surface, and a finishing substrate is loaded on the furring channel, the furring channel does not contact the mounting surface. Between the ends of the resilient bent metal strip, and the furring channel, are one to several bends, towards and away from the mounting surface to achieve the desired resiliency.

Abstract: A hidden-type fastener for attaching laterally adjacent grooved decking members to an underlying support includes a body with a fastener opening, first and second connection wings, and a flange. The wings extend out from a top edge of the body in opposite directions. Each includes a first portion perpendicular to the body and a second portion oriented at an angle thereto. The flange is perpendicular to the body, and is attached to a bottom edge thereof. In use, the wing opposite the flange is placed in the groove of a first decking member. A connector is secured into the support through the opening, causing the fastener and wing to flex into engagement with the decking member. A second decking member is placed laterally against the first by maneuvering its side groove over the other wing, causing the wing to flex for engagement therewith.

Each floor board has two tongues on one lateral side and another tongue and a locking groove on the opposite lateral side. The floor board also has two grooves on its bottom side. The locking device has three protruding gripping extensions. Few locking devices are placed on each floor board before the floor boards are sent to a job site. At the job site, two adjacent floor boards are assembled together by inserting the tongue of one board into a space defined by the locking device and the tongues of the adjacent board. The tongues are further secured in place by compression of flexible buffers located at each protruding gripping extension.
