Spacer-positioner Patents (Class 52/649.7)
  • Patent number: 11821208
Abstract: Provided is an anchor assembly having a pre-stressed mandrel, which consists of an inner pre-stressed concrete mandrel and an outer cast-in-place anchoring slurry, wherein pre-stressed tendons are arranged inside the concrete mandrel and are prefabricated by a pretensioning method; the anchoring slurry wraps the pre-stressed concrete mandrel, and the cast-in-place anchoring slurry is formed by placing the pre-stressed concrete mandrel in a pile hole, and solidifying after primary grouting or secondary grouting. According to the anchor assembly, the pre-stress is not required to be tensioned and locked on site, so that the quality of the pre-stressed mandrel can be ensured, the on-site construction period can be greatly shortened, and the existing pre-stressed and common non-pre-stressed anchors can be replaced.

  • Patent number: 8443567
Abstract: A spacer is provided for attachment to a pair of intersecting reinforcement wires to space them from a form. The spacer has a base member having a generally planar shape and two opposite sides, one of the sides having two continuous grooves that extend completely across the base member and that intersect one another for receiving therein a pair of intersecting reinforcement wires, and the other of the sides having a projection that projects outwardly therefrom a preselected distance to space the intersecting reinforcement wires a specified distance from a form. A cover member covers the one side of the base member. The cover member has fastening portions that coact with complementary fastening portions on the base member to fasten the cover member to the base member with the intersecting reinforcement wires sandwiched therebetween to thereby attach the spacer to the intersecting reinforcement wires.

  • Patent number: 6986231
Abstract: A column comprising courses of building blocks such as bricks is arranged with the long axis of each block parallel to the axis of the column and filled with a substrate such as concrete with an axial structural member. The column may be produced with the aid of a cage including spaced apart hoops or rings used to position blocks during column construction. The cage includes indenters for offsetting some of the blocks in order to form aesthetically pleasing grooving along the finished column.

  • Patent number: 6832458
Abstract: A quick-connector for terminal fastening of a penetrating rebar (7) to a perpendicularly oriented concrete dowel (2), the connector comprising a wire clip (1) having a deflected segment of wire of the length (L) at least partially made of resilient-elastic metal, wherein the wire clip (1) includes, with respect to a primary turning arc (3), arms (5, 5′) that are mirror-symmetrical to an angle-bisecting plane (4), wherein each arm (5, 5′) forms a deflected secondary turning arc (6, 6′) transverse to the primary turning arc (3) and a clippable hook (8, 8′) that rests force-lockingly into a radial external surface zone (9), of a terminal radial expansion (1), of the concrete dowel (2).

  • Patent number: 6629393
Abstract: A masonry reinforcing tie is formed of a pair of spaced apart, parallel elongate elements joined by a series of lateral crossmembers welded or otherwise affixed across the elongate members. The elongate elements and crossmembers are preferably formed of heavy metal wire or rod. The elongate members each include a series of spaced apart joint spacing elements formed integrally therewith, with the spacing elements having a height equal to the standard mortar joint thickness between vertically adjacent courses of block or brick. The spacing elements may be any suitable shape, e.g., V, U, square, etc. as desired, and may be laterally aligned with one another, staggered, and/or evenly or unevenly spaced along the elongate elements as desired. The spacers may be formed during manufacture of the tie by passing the tie through a roller die, stamping the spacers along the elongate elements, etc.

  • Patent number: 6401400
Abstract: This invention comprises reinforced industrial vaults with segmented knock-outs having a variety of shapes and orientations. The invention also comprises vaults having cast-in cable racks. The cable racks can be electrically connected to the reinforcing elements during manufacture, providing electrical grounding of electronic equipment placed in the vault. Cable channels can be installed at desired locations by selecting a knock-out, removing the knock-out and installing a terminator plate having cable conduits. Cable conduits can have diaphragms that can be removed to provide additional choices for locating cable channels. Cable channels can be provided in a vault in the field, even if the vault has been already installed.
