Abstract: Pedestal components are stacked on top of each other in multiple layers, to form multiple display surfaces at different levels of the pedestal. Modular components may be secured together only by gravitational force, and may cooperate by slidable and/or rotatable engagement, for adjustment of a group of components into different configurations as desired. The pedestal may include two or more subassemblies each having two or more layers of components, wherein the subassemblies may be connected by components extending between and engaging multiple of the subassemblies so that some of the components are common to, and interchangeable in, multiple subassemblies.

  • Patent number: 6935078
Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses an anchor fastener for mating parts to a channel 30 for, e.g., the attachment of muntin in a window 14 design. The end clip 15 of the preferred embodiment is comprised of molded polymeric material having means for aligning the clip with a channel and means for locking the clip to the channel. The clip is comprised of a base 16 having an upwardly extending post 18 that forms means for mounting other parts to the fastener. The post 18 can be of any shape, size or length depending on the part to be mated onto the post. Three spaced apart rails 24, 26 are formed under the base 16 to transversely engage the channel 30 with the center rail 24 also having a transverse slot 36 for matingly locking with the channel. The channel 30 has spaced apart notches 32 with tabs 34 positioned therebetween on opposing sides of the channel.

Abstract: An integral metal spacer for insulated glass units and method of fabricating the spacer. The spacer defines a substantially closed cross-section contour having a bottom surface, a pair of sidewalls, and a pair of generally abutting inner surfaces. A gap may be defined between the adjacent inner surfaces. The three interior corners are defined by fully mitered sidewalls. A pair of bridges are provided to integrally interconnect the inner surfaces of adjacent spacer segments. The method of fabricating includes taking a roll of flat metal stock and completely punching all corner and other structures therein while the stock is planar; severing the punched stock into individual spacer members; roll-forming the individual members into a finished linear spacer piece; applying desiccant during roll-forming; applying sealant; thereafter folding the elongate member into a square spacer thereby locking the desiccant therein.
