Traversing-type Anchor Patents (Class 52/703)
  • Patent number: 5433044
Abstract: A safety clamp (10) attaches a safety cable (48) to standing seams (14) of a roof deck (12). The safety clamp has a housing (16) with a movable member (20) mounted therein. The housing has first tabs (18) that extend outward thereon and are engageable with first sides of the standing seams. The movable member has second tabs (22) mounted thereon that extend through cut-outs (24) in the housing. The safety clamp is attachable to the standing seams by moving a threaded member (38) to hold three standing seams in clamped relation between the tabs.

  • Patent number: 5415510
Abstract: A heat insulating support tool is provided for a concrete wall structure. The support tool may include a pedestal member having a through-hole extending axially through the pedestal member, a fixing rod-like member extending through the through-hole of the predestal member, and a spacing holding rod-like member embedded in the concrete wall. The fixing rod-like member may include a rotating member at a front end thereof and an enlarged head member at a rear end thereof. In addition, a connecting device may be provided for connecting one end of the spacing holding rod-like member to the fixing rod-like member so that the connection of the spacing holding rod-like member and the fixing rod-like member can be released by rotating the rotating member.

  • Patent number: 5197255
Abstract: An anchoring device for fastening cladding panels to walls of buildings has a flat band of an essentially rectangular cross-section that is provided with spaced holes arranged one after another in a longitudinal direction. An upper end of the band is connected to a fastening part. A bolt that is inserted into one of the holes fastens the band to a fastening element that is attached to the cladding panel. The fastening element comprises a supporting member and an essentially parallel counter member. The supporting member and the counter member are spaced at a distance over a portion of their respective longitudinal dimension whereby the distance corresponds at least to the thickness of the band. The band is inserted into the space between the supporting member and the counter member. A second of the band is bent directly above the supporting member, whereby the supporting member serves as a bending edge.

  • Patent number: 4875553
Abstract: A modular elevator cab construction is provided for assembly onto a platform of an elevator cage substantially from within the area of the cab. A rear wall panel, two side wall panels and front wall structures are assembled by simple complementary interengaging hanger devices on the backside of the adjacent walls for assembling the walls in proper right-angular juxtaposition. Anchoring mechanisms are provided between the platform and the lower edges of the wall panels. A drop ceiling support framework is hung from the top edges of the surrounding, assembled walls without the use of extraneous fastening means. A unitary canopy structure surmounts the walls and has a skirt embracing the upper end portions of the walls.

  • Patent number: 4827684
Abstract: A masonry veneer wall anchor formed on an integral metal form preformed an an L-shaped bar has one leg overlying a building frame member for attachment thereto and has a horizontally disposed outstanding leg with an elongated slotted hole through which a tying member formed as a closed rectangular-sized loop with longitudinal and transverse legs offset at a 90.degree. angle so that one section of the transverse legs may be inserted for vertical adjustment, the tying member engaging the edges of the slot at the transverse legs to provide improved resistance to compressive as well as pulling forces, thereby maximizing functional effectiveness.
