Publication number: 20100088939Abstract: On an information-showing portion 10A of a tag 1A shown in FIG. 1, information is written. A mounting portion 11A has at two positions catching holes 11m which catch a linear binder which is fasted by being wound around a mounted target such as a bag and is bound to the mounted target together with the binder by fastening the binder passed through the catching holes 11m at the two positions to the mounted target. A coupling portion 12A is made by forming a concave portion 12m by notching part of a side of the information-showing portion 10A and integrally couples the mounting portion 11A and the information-showing portion 10A to each other through its width smaller than that of the information-showing portion 10A. According to such a configuration, an orientation of the tag 1A in a condition where it is attached to the mounted target may be more stable and at this time, it is possible to recognize the information securely.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 26, 2007Publication date: April 15, 2010Applicant: MAX CO., LTD.Inventor: Yoshihiro Maniwa

Patent number: 6928788Abstract: A tying machine for tying an article, such as an open part of a bag, includes an operating member connected to a drive shaft which in turn is connected to a link mechanism. A rack member is connected pivotally to the link mechanism and engages a single-direction gear which drives a rotary shaft and a cam member. The cam member actuates a wire bending unit, a wire cutting unit, and a wire twisting unit. A returning spring is associated with the drive shaft. The operations of the link mechanism and the rack member may be reversed by turning the operating member to rectify malfunctions.Type: GrantFiled: August 5, 2004Date of Patent: August 16, 2005Inventor: Hung-Jung Lai

Patent number: 6837156Abstract: A twist tie feed device is provided for twisting together the ends of a tie ribbon which encircles a product including a base plate. A twist head assembly can be mounted on a base plate and receives a first end of a tie ribbon which encircles the product and a second end of the encircling tie ribbon and will rotate about itself to twist the tie ribbon about the product. Positive drive wheels and idler working in conjuction feed the ribbon in one of a first direction towards the twist head assembly and a second direction away from the twist head assembly. The positive drive wheels can contact the ribbon at one side and the idler can contact the ribbon on the other side to apply a positive drive force to the drive the ribbon as it passes between the drive wheels and idler. The ribbon can be fed in the second direction away from the twist head assembly, thereby tightening the ribbon about the product.Type: GrantFiled: June 4, 2003Date of Patent: January 4, 2005Assignee: Ben Clements & Sons, Inc.Inventors: John C. Patent number: 6807795Abstract: A method and apparatus for forming a tamper resistant seal on a plastic bag containing a loaf of bread or other products is disclosed. The neck of the bag is flattened, gripped between a pair of upper inboard and outboard gathering belts and a pair of lower inboard and outboard gathering belts adjacent opposite sides of a segment of the neck of the bag. A row of perforations is formed in the bag neck as the bag moves adjacent a roller provided with teeth or cutting elements. Heated air jets are directed to engage the segment of the bag bridging between the inboard and the outboard gathering belts for fusing panels of the bag together to form a sealed strip spaced from the row of perforations in the bag neck to facilitate removal of the sealed strip from the bag.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2001Date of Patent: October 26, 2004Assignee: Burford Corp.Inventors: Luther B.
