Closing Mechanism Tripped By Vented Air Patents (Class 53/269)
  • Patent number: 9156669
Abstract: A method of bottling liquids, in particular carbonated liquids or liquids sensitive to oxygen, on a machine comprising a conveying device movable along a given path and having at least one unit for receiving and retaining a bottle, the method comprising filling the bottle with a liquid as the unit travels along a first portion of the path; and capping the bottle with a cap as the same unit travels along a second portion of the path. Also, A bottle as obtained by the method and also comprising a further cap applied onto a neck of said bottle and provided with coupling means to engage and pull said cap along the bottle axis upon removal of said further cap from said neck so as to open the bottle.

  • Patent number: 9021770
Abstract: The sealing station in a thermoforming machine for sealing a cover sheet to a bottom sheet having pocket-like depressions to hold products includes a first mold and a second mold, the second mold having cavities to accept the pocket-like depressions in the bottom sheet. The sealing station further has a vent system, which involves an inlet channel and an outlet channel in an area of each of the cavities so that, during a sealing operation, a vent space is formed between each depression in the bottom sheet and each cavity, and air entering through the respective inlet channel passes over the depression in the bottom sheet in the vent space and escapes through the respective outlet channel.

  • Patent number: 4889544
Abstract: A cooler-dehumidifier-filter 3-in-one apparatus for treating compressed air, comprising an air inlet-outlet mechanism with a built-up radiator cisterns connected therebelow, having an air diffusion mechanism and an air filtering mechanism set therein to communicate with the air intake conduit so as to provide initial cooling and filtering effect; an exhausting device being made on the bottom of said air filtering mechanism to produce spiral air flow so as to dehumidfy the compressed air; the dehumidified air being to soar upward to pass through said filtering mechanism and the interlocking holes of the flange of said air diffusion mechanism to further be squeezed and diffused to cool down again; said air current being further to pass through said upwardly disposed filtering cylinder for secondary filtration; a water cooling effect being achieved by means of the arrangement of water inlet and outlet on said radiator cisterns to match the communicating pipe formed by the vertical conduits of said radiator ciste

  • Patent number: 4733516
Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for filling bags with a material and for sealing them, and it can carry the bags in a direction of a bag thickness. A first feature of the present invention resides in that, in the case that the bags are arranged between a pair of chain conveyors disposed in parallel vertical planes, they are gripped by plural pairs of grippers mounted on a pair of axes extending through each rectangular parallelepiped carrier. Further, a second feature of the present invention is that the apparatus according to the present invention is equipped with nozzles for introducing a compressed gas into the bags and pressure gauges for measuring a pressure within the bags in order to detect whether or not each bag is normally gripped by the grippers. Furthermore, another feature of the present invention is that a return pipe is fixed to a filling device so that the filling material may be returned to a storage tank, without being discharged therethrough, by closing the filling nozzle.

  • Patent number: 4088458
Abstract: In a gas chromatograph assembly, a heat conducting block of relatively large mass has a plurality of cavities formed therein. One cavity houses the chromatographic column; another cavity, extending into close proximity to the first, houses a temperature sensing element; and a third cavity houses a heater. This assembly is secured to a heat transmitting base to which is also secured an explosion-proof housing which houses a detector block. The entire assembly is covered with insulation and the heater block maintains the chromatographic column and the detector block at substantially the same temperature.
