Swivel Or Slide Relation To Receptacle Aperture Patents (Class 53/273)
  • Patent number: 8307860
Abstract: Disclosed is a device for evenly filling or emptying at least one dosing chamber with a product. The device includes a dosing chamber disposed in a dosing disk, the product being dispensed into or emptied from the dosing chamber. A pressure generator impinges the dosing chamber with a predetermined pressure in order fill or empty the dosing chamber. A filter is disposed movably relative to the dosing chamber to assures that once the product has been dispensed, the product can be brought downward into the container to be filled. The filling of the container can be reinforcing by blown air or by transfer dies. The dosing chamber communicates, via the filter means, with the pressure generator. By application of an underpressure, the product to be dosed is dispensed into the dosing chamber. For cleaning the filter means, on the other hand, an overpressure pulse is applied, which improves product dispensing precision.

  • Publication number: 20080190075
Abstract: A packaging station of a packaging machine for filling containers with products, the station comprising a transport device for feeding the products along a feed path and via first and second charging paths which run parallel to said feed path and transport the containers. The containers are filled by a filling device designed to seize one or more of the products from the feed path and to place said seized products into one or more containers on one or other of the charging paths. The charging paths consist of the following sequence of items, listed in order in the displacement direction of the containers to be filled: a set-up assembly, a transport device and a sealing unit. The device and method permit a more rapid filling of packaging materials with products in a relatively small space, in particular on a platform.

  • Patent number: 6625961
Abstract: A device for the rapid packaging of various meat products includes at least four bagging chutes that are fed by a rotary chute. Once bags located at the bottom of the bagging chute are filled with a meat product, they are placed on a conveyor belt. The device is designed in such a manner so as to prevent meat products from accidentally falling onto the ground and thus wasting.

  • Patent number: 6550228
Abstract: A device for the controlled admission of a noxious powder into a box which includes a body having an open lower part that terminates in a sealing skirt. The body is connected to a powder inlet pipe and to a gas extraction pipe. A movable valve is disposed in the body. The valve is controlled by a magnetic device, and cooperates with the sealing skirt. A housing is fixed on the lower part of the body. The housing is open in its central part to allow the passage of the box therethrough and comprises a retractable device which ensures grip and transfer of the lid of the box. The device also includes means for detecting the quantity of powder in the box, and at least one ventilation circuit ensuring, at the level of the circumference of the opening of said housing and/or at the level of the sealing skirt, evacuation towards a treatment unit of that part of the powder which might be located at those levels.

  • Patent number: 6038833
Abstract: Fill seal structures having an elastomeric seal element contained in a housing for use with a liquid filling machine for bottles having fill necks, wherein lifting mechanisms are employed to move the bottles upwardly toward sealing faces of fill ports on the fill bowl of the machine, and wherein the seal structures are designed to provide for fluid tight seals between the top open ends of the bottle necks and the sealing faces, wherein the seal element consists of a generally tubular wall providing a fluid flow passage having an outlet end section and a complex inlet end section, the outlet end section being formed to provide a first contact surface for engaging and sealing against the top open neck end of a bottle, the inlet end section having a generally radially inwardly directed flexible hinge segment integral with the wall at a hinge seam, an annular crest on a radially inner portion of the hinge segment and extending and facing generally axially outwardly therefrom, the crest being adapted to bear again

  • Patent number: 4712355
Abstract: A method and apparatus for loading articles into a container. The articles, in the form of a side-by-side stack of small trays or boxes, are conveyed along a conveyor and are discharged into a bin, which is mounted for pivoting movement between an article receiving position, in which the base of the bin is located at an acute angle to the horizontal, to a discharge position where the base is disposed generally vertical. The stack of articles received within the bin is supported against a movable end wall, and clamping means is provided to clamp the stack laterally against a side wall of the bin, as well as clamping the stack against the base. With the stack clamped in the bin, the bin is then rotated to the discharge position and the movable end wall is moved to a release position. The bin is then lowered to lower the stack into a container, and on release of the clamping mechanism the stack is discharged into the container.

  • Patent number: 4653249
Abstract: A telescopic filling adapter of the type adapted to be mounted on the filling valve of a bottle filling machine is comprised of a mounting element adapted to be sealingly engaged with the filling valve. A centering element is provided with an annular seal for engaging a bottle opening and is mounted for telescopic sliding movement relative to the mounting element. One of the elements defines an annular telescopic chamber for slidably receiving the other element with sufficient clearance to permit the passage of fluid into the telescopic chamber during a bottle filling operation. A sealing ring is provided between the mounting element and the centering element so that the telescopic chamber may be pressurized when the mounting element is sealingly engaged with the filler valve and the centering element is sealingly engaged with a bottle. Suitable springs are provided for biasing the centering element into pressure engagement with the bottle.

  • Patent number: 4446674
Abstract: For filling successive spouted bags with a beverage or like fluid product to a prescribed weight, a filling valve assembly and a cap remover assembly are immovably mounted side by side in a germfree chamber formed over a weighing platform. After the germfree chamber and the interior of a filling head forming a part of the filling valve assembly have been sterilized, a bag is placed on or over the weighing platform, with its capped spout caught by a spout carrier arm, which is supported on the weighing platform for both linear up-and-down motion and pivotal motion about a vertical axis. Following the removal of the cap from the spout by the cap remover assembly, the arm carries the spout to a position under the filling valve assembly and holds the spout against the filling head.
