Cushion Patents (Class 54/41.1)
  • Patent number: 10098435
Abstract: The present invention provides a cosmetic product comprising a rubber discharge pad, which comprises radially distributed discharge holes and is made from a rubber material, and discharging the contents through the discharge holes. According to the cosmetic product of the present invention, the degree of discharge of the contents can be suitably controlled during the use of the contents, radial discharge micro-holes on the surface of the rubber discharge pad have a dispersal discharge function, the remaining amount can be minimized since even the contents of the bottom of a container can be readily used by the elasticity of the rubber discharge pad, the cosmetic product can be carried without leakage of the contents since the contents are covered with the rubber discharge pad, and always having the feeling of using a new product is enabled since contact between the external air and contaminants is blocked during the use thereof.

  • Patent number: 6698168
Abstract: The tree of a harness saddle band is formed of an elongated, narrow, thin, strip of resilient plastic material bent into an inverted U-shape having a central bight portion and integral depending leg portions. The bight portion is stiffened to resist bending or flexing of the bight portion. The depending leg portions are resiliently flexible relative to the bight portion for independently bending laterally towards an away from each other and for independently bending longitudinally forwardly and rearwardly of the horse. The junctions between the leg portions and the bight portion are provided with raised ribs which are decreasingly tapered in the direction from the bight portion towards the free ends of the leg portions.

  • Patent number: 6640525
Abstract: A novel saddle pad will help disburse the pressure over a greater area on the animal's back, thus reducing pressure points and reducing discomfort for the animal. The saddle pad works by providing a bar cutout area that is thinner than the remainder of the saddle pad. Saddle skirts, while somewhat flexible, generally have some rigidity. The saddle is placed over the saddle pad with the tree resting over the thinner, bar cutout area, while the remainder of the saddle skirt rests over the thicker, standard area. The skirt flexes outwardly slightly, but as it resist further outward flexion, there is an equalization of the pressure exerted from the saddle and rider over the entire underside of the saddle rather mainly under the tree. In this manner, downward force is disbursed.

  • Patent number: 6276118
Abstract: Disclosed is an orthopedic saddle seat cushion, and method for cushioning, to prevent the coccyx of a rider from touching the saddle, to prevent or eliminate lower back discomfort or injury. The cushion allows a substantial area of the rest of the buttocks-seat of the rider to contact the saddle which permits the rider to feel the saddle and thus maintain good control of the animal being ridden. The saddle seat cushion is a circularly shaped outer ring of material that contains a mechanism for inflating the ring, which comprises an inflation tube for putting a gas, or any combination of gases, such as normal air, into the ring to inflate the ring, and an air plug for retaining gas in the ring. There is a fastening mechanism to secure the cushion to the saddle.
