Abstract: The invention is in a process for dyeing and printing fibrous materials containing hydroxy groups, in particular materials such as cotton, linen, hemp, regenerated cellulose and mixtures of these fibers together with polyester or polyamide fibers. The invention is based on the discovery that water-soluble organic dyestuffs containing at least one phosphonic acid mono-fluoride group corresponding in the acid form to the formula ##STR1## and containing at least one ionic water-solubilizing group, can be fixed reactively to the fibrous material containing hydroxy groups under alkaline conditions. The dyeings and prints obtained by the process of the invention have a very even shade and are obtained in high intensity and color depth. They are fast to light and alkali and are distinguished by a very high fastness to washing, even in the alkaline range and at elevated temperatures.
Abstract: Dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein S, m, X, R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and n have the meaning indicated in the description, and their use for dyeing and printing textile materials containing hydroxyl groups and textile materials containing nitrogen, in particular textile materials of natural and regenerated cellulose, and furthermore of wool, silk and synthetic polyamide and polyurethane fibres. The resulting dyeings are distinguished by good fastness to light and wet processing.

Abstract: Dye formulations for dyeing or printing cellulose or cellulosic fibrous material which in addition to the usual dispersing agents, water retention agents, disinfectants and water contain dyes devoid of sulfonic acid groups and of the general formula: ##STR1## in which A is an anthraquinonyl, anthrapyrimidone or anthrapyrimidine radical which may bear substituents; X is hydrogen or an aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radical; B is hydrogen or an aliphatic radical; B.sup.1 is an aliphatic, araliphatic or aromatic radical or the group ##STR2## is a five-membered, six-membered or seven-membered heterocyclic ring; and n is 1 or 2. Dyeings and prints having very good fastness properties and particularly very good fastness to wet treatments and crocking are obtained on cellulose. The dyes contained in the formulations are fixed on swollen cellulosic fibers by heating.

Abstract: Anthraquinone compounds represented by the following formula are useful as dyes: ##STR1## wherein Y stands for a hydrogen atom or a nitro group, Z stands for an oxygen or sulfur atom when Y stands for a hydrogen atom, but Z stands for an oxygen atom when Y stands for a nitro group, R.sub.1 stands for a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group, R.sub.3 stands for a halogen atom or a group R.sub.2 wherein R.sub.2 stands for an amino, substituted or unsubstituted lower alkylamino, substituted or unsubstituted arylamino, substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy, substituted or unsubstituted alkylthio, substituted or unsubstituted arylthio group, or a group ##STR2## Q stands for a nitrogen atom or carbon atom bearing a halogen atom when R.sub.3 stands for a halogen atom, but Q stands for a nitrogen atom when R.sub.3 stands for a group R.sub.
Abstract: Fibre-reactive dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## wherein F is the radical of a chromophore, R is hydrogen, alkyl or aryl, X is halogen and A is a carbocyclic radical.
Abstract: Reactive dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## WHEREIN ##STR2## IS AN AMINO-SUBSTITUTED AZO DYESTUFF RADICAL WHERE B is the azo dyestuff radical thereof;R is hydrogen or lower alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted by methoxy, ethoxy or hydroxy;m is 1-2;And wherein Y is ##STR3## where X is chloro, bromo or fluoro;Z is ##STR4## where EACH M+ is alkali metal or ammonium, or both M+ together represent magnesium, calcium or zinc; andR' is hydrogen, lower alkyl or lower alkyl substituted by methoxy, ethoxy or hydroxy. These dyestuffs are useful in dyeing textile materials of cotton, regenerated cellulose, wool, silk, cellulose acetate, polyamides, polyacrylonitrile and modified polyacrylonitrile.
Abstract: Fibre-reactive anthraquinone dyestuffs are disclosed which are of the formula ##STR1## wherein X and Y represent independently of each other hydrogen or SO.sub.3.sup.- M.sup.+,Z represents a fibre-reactive radical bound to -NH- directly or via a bridging member selected from carbonyl, sulphonyl or carbonylimino; and forming with the substrate especially polyamide or cellulose at least one covalent bond, andM.sup.+ represents one equivalent of a colorless cation. These dyestuffs are useful for the pad-dyeing and printing of organic materials, especially materials made from polyamide or cellulose. The resulting dyeings are distinguished by excellent fastness to wet processing such as, in particular to washing, water, perspiration, alkali and rubbing, as well as by a good fastness to light.
