  • Patent number: 11311890
Abstract: A filter device has a housing plate with a sleeve extending along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to the housing plate. The sleeve guides fluid containing particles along an inner sleeve surface to separate particles from the fluid and discharge the particles via a discharge window of the sleeve. An immersion tube plate opposite the housing plate has an immersion tube projecting coaxially into the sleeve for outflow of the fluid. The immersion tube has a sealing and centering section about an outer circumference of the immersion tube that forms a sealing surface parallel to the longitudinal axis and radially seals with an inner surface of the sleeve. The sealing and centering section extends about the immersion tube to provide coaxial alignment with the sleeve. A radial and/or axial expansion of the sealing and centering section is reduced in a predetermined region of the immersion tube opposite the discharge window.

  • Publication number: 20150059316
Abstract: A method for improving fuel efficiency of a vehicle and an exclusive energy saving and emission reduction device thereof are provided. The key points of the technical solutions are as follows. An exhaust separation device is installed in a crankcase of an engine. An oil-gas separation technology is adopted to manufacture an oil-gas separator and a diffusion vortex chamber. According to an aerodynamic principle, the separation degree of the exhaust is improved through compression and high speed vortex in the energy saving device, in such a manner that engine oil vapor in the exhaust is separated from combustible mixed gases, and then sent to the engine via an air intake throttle. The present invention enables complete combustion of the fuel, so as to achieve effects of oil-saving and emission-reducing.

Abstract: Disclosed is an improved axial flow unitary filter element for filtering a fluid stream, examples including a gaseous or an air stream. The filter element includes a primary filter portion and a pre-separation filter portion. The portions of said filter element are permanently integrated such that the portions form said unitary or one-piece filter element. The pre-separation portion is permanently secured and fully peripherally sealed about its peripheral portions to the primary filter such that a gaseous stream entering said inlet face of the primary filter must first pass through the pre-separation filter portion of the filter element. The pre-separation portion protects the primary filter portion from becoming water logged due to the presence of water droplets or snow in the fluid stream.

  • Patent number: 7462213
Abstract: A method of operating a plurality of clean room in a compound within a common enclosure and supplying each room with filtered air by a blower-filter unit by arranging the clean rooms and the blowers connected thereto in two parallel spaced rows with a corridor therebetween, and permitting filtered air to escape the clean rooms from beneath the walls of the clean rooms. Continuous operation of the blowers produces a bubble-like volume of air surrounding the blowers which consists primarily of clean, recirculated air escaping from the clean rooms. By arranging the clean rooms and blowers so that the clean air bubble produced by each blower overlaps the bubbles produced by at least two other blowers, the entire compound can be contained in a highly purified atmosphere consisting primarily of recirculated filtered air. A portion of the air from one or more clean rooms may be discharged in an upward direction through an opening in its top wall.

  • Patent number: 7270690
Abstract: The separator has a vane assembly made up of a number of corrugated vanes that provide serpentine paths for the gas stream therethrough. As the gas stream flows through the serpentine paths, it changes direction and liquid in the gas stream impacts the surfaces of the vanes. The upstream section of the vane assembly has roughened surfaces to decrease the surface tension of the liquid, thereby causing the liquid to coalesce. The downstream section of the vane assembly has smooth surfaces so as to increase the surface tension of the liquid. The vane assembly is followed by filters, which capture the liquid that passes through the vane assembly. The vane assembly coalesces the liquid to enable the filters to operate more effectively.

Abstract: An upright vacuum cleaner with a cyclonic airflow path includes a floor-engaging base unit, a body unit pivotally mounted to the base unit and a motor/fan assembly mounted on one of the base unit or body units. A dirt collecting enclosure is also mounted on the body unit and includes a first large chamber and a second smaller chamber. A filter unit is disposed in the first large chamber. Dirt laden air is introduced into the first large chamber in a tangential manner so as to impart a cyclonic action to the airflow. The filter in the first large chamber is effective for removing larger particles of debris from the airflow. The remaining airflow is communicated to the second chamber where smaller particles of debris are removed. Airflow from the second smaller chamber is then communicated through a cyclonic chamber disposed above and transverse to the dirt collecting enclosure, to a third chamber where a second filter is disposed.
