  • Patent number: 9115154
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a method of preparing tris-(2-chloroethyl)phosphite, comprising: continuously pumping phosphorus trichloride and ethylene oxide into a tubular pre-mixer for pre-mixing, respectively, and starting a refrigerant cooling unit of the microchannel reaction device simultaneously, to obtain a product tris-(2-chloroethyl)phosphite after complete reaction. The method according to the present disclosure not only significantly improves the content of the esterification product, thus increasing the production efficiency by 10 to 100 times than that of an ordinary tank reactor, but also reduces the residence time of the esterification product in the reactor from 110 hours to several minutes.

  • Patent number: 6737536
Abstract: This invention relates to inositolphospholipids, particularly to synthetic phosphatidyl-myo-inositols (PtdIns), ceramide-phosphoinositols (CerPhosIns) and their structural and stereochemical analogues. The invention specifically provides a novel approach to synthesis of inositolphospholipids which is suitable for laboratory scale preparation as well as for large scale industrial production. The synthetic approach is applicable equally well for the preparation of inositolphospholipids carrying saturated lipid chains, unsaturated lipid chains with one or more double or triple bonds, chains with hydroxyl, amino and other functional groups, or combinations of these. In addition, it provides novel high purity diastereomer molecular species of inositolphospholipids that have unequivocally defined structure and absolute stereochemistry in both the myo-inositol and the glycerol residues and are obtainable only by the present new approach.

Abstract: Included are halogenated phosphate-phosphites and their acid halides and acids. The halogenated phosphate-phosphites can be prepared by a process comprising serially contacing(A) a phosphorus trihalide with a triol;(B) a halogenating agent; and(C) an oxirane or an alcohol;under conditions sufficient to prepare the halogenated phosphate-phosphite. Steps (A) and (B) can prepare their acid halides. Use of water in step (C) can prepare their acids. For example, 3-((bis(2-chloroethoxy)phosphino)oxy)(2-bromoethyl-2-methylpropyl, 2-bromoethyl, 2-chloroethyl)phosphorate can be prepared from 2-methyl-2-(hydroxymethyl)-1,3-propanediol; phosphorus trichloride; bromine; and ethylene oxide. Also included is use of the compounds as a hyraulic fluid or flame retardant. For example, polyurethanes can be rendered less flammable with the halogenated phosphate-phosphite flame retardant.
