Patent number: 11547108Abstract: A field incinerator has a carriage with a frame. A fuel tank such as a propane tank is mounted to the frame. An outlet passage extends from the tank. An outlet valve is mounted to the outlet passage. The outlet valve controls the outlet passage. The first gauge has a first gauge tap. The first gauge tap is connected to the fuel tank or the outlet passage. The first gauge has a first gauge control parameter. The first gauge control parameter requires less than a first set pressure for activation. The second gauge is connected to the outlet passage downstream from the first gauge. The second gauge has a second gauge control parameter. The second gauge control parameter requires more than a set second pressure for activation. The first gauge control parameter and the second gauge control parameter must both be fulfilled for opening the outlet valve.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 2022Date of Patent: January 10, 2023Inventor: Jiro Yamamoto

Patent number: 11457776Abstract: A drying apparatus includes a body, a controller, a thermal sensor to sense an ambient temperature, a humidity sensor to sense an ambient humidity, an air outlet to vent an airflow, a flow generator to generate the airflow within the body, and a thermoelectric device including an inward surface and an outward surface, where the inward surface heats or cools the airflow generated by the flow generator. The controller is configured to control a temperature of the inward surface of the thermoelectric device based on the ambient temperature and the ambient humidity.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2020Date of Patent: October 4, 2022Assignee: LG ELECTRONICS INC.Inventors: Hyun Sun Yoo, Seung Yup Lee, Sang Yoon Lee, Byung Soo Oh, Hyun-Joo Jeon, So Ra Cheon, Ji Sun Yoon

Patent number: 10426083Abstract: A grass cutting mobile robot includes a body and a blade assembly connected to the body and rotatable about a drive axis. The blade assembly includes blades, a housing to hold the blades, and a spring that connects the blade to the housing. The housing includes a slot in which to mount a blade so that a portion of the blade is movable through the slot towards another blade in response to an impact. The slot slopes upwards in the housing towards the body, thereby enabling the blade to move upwards relative to a ground surface toward the body in response to the impact. The spring is for constraining movement of the blade relative to the housing.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2018Date of Patent: October 1, 2019Assignee: iRobot CorporationInventor: Brian Doughty

Publication number: 20110197558Abstract: A seed cotton dryer comprises an array of electromagnetic wave energy generators in a cotton gin, a cotton picker/stripper. An appropriate amount of energy is used to evaporate a considerable amount of moisture in the seed cotton without producing enough energy to pop the cotton seeds. Seed cotton dried by wave energy is much easier to separate the cotton seeds and lint from leaves, stems and other plant parts. The seed cotton is preferably transported through the dryer in a conduit having flat sides which reflects the wave energy more efficiently than through a round conduit. Provisions are made to prevent arcing in the transport conduit when extraneous metal pieces are inadvertently mixed with the seed cotton. In some embodiments, heated air from a diesel engine is used to dry crops as they are being harvested.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2011Publication date: August 18, 2011Inventor: Ronnie J. Nimmo

Publication number: 20110139050Abstract: An exhaust conditioning system for use with a tractor towing an air seeding implement comprises an exhaust duct arranged to communicate exhaust emissions from the engine of the tractor to the seed fan of the air seeding implement. A condenser receives the exhaust emissions of the exhaust duct therethrough between the engine and the seed fan. A condenser fan cools a surface of the condenser. A computer controller controllably varies a rate of at least one of the condenser fan, the seed fan or revolutions per minute of the engine responsive to a sensed temperature of the exhaust emissions to maintain the temperature of the exhaust emissions within a selected temperature range and such that the exhaust emissions are arranged to influence germination of the seeds either by humidity, oxidised organic matter or bio-char.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2009Publication date: June 16, 2011Inventor: Gary Lewis

Patent number: 7677019Abstract: An exhaust circulation lawnmower is disclosed in which grass clippings are sent, along with carrier air, from a cutter housing to a grass bag; the grass clippings are held in the grass bag; and the carrier air is returned to the cutter housing as exhaust. A surface area A1 of a grass clippings discharge opening and a surface area A2 of a recirculation opening have a relationship of A2?{1/(1??N)0.5}A1, where A1 is the surface area of the grass clippings discharge opening through which the grass clippings and carrier air are discharged from the cutter housing to the grass bag, A2 is the surface area of the recirculation opening through which the carrier air is recirculated from the grass bag to the cutter housing, N is the number of bends having an angle of ? degrees in the space between the grass clippings discharge opening and the recirculation opening, and ? is a pressure loss coefficient for each of the bends.Type: GrantFiled: August 2, 2007Date of Patent: March 16, 2010Assignee: Honda Motor Co., LtdInventors: Tetsuo Iida, Shunsuke Kurioka, Shoji Hasei
