Draft Dumping Rake Patents (Class 56/368)
  • Patent number: 8601781
Abstract: An adjustable rake assembly for raking and baling material in a single pass is provided. In particular, a rake assembly is provided that includes a frame and two movable wings configured to be moved to at least one transport position, in which the wings are disposed proximate a main axial member of the frame in a folded arrangement. A rake assembly is also provided wherein at least one rake is configured to be moved with respect to the frame between a first position and a second position via a telescoping rake connection and a rotating rake connection. The position of the wings and/or rakes may be changed via a control system.

  • Patent number: 8240118
Abstract: A hay rake having a central main frame member with left and right extendable spinner arms so that they swing toward and away from the main frame from a closed position for transportation to an open position for raking hay. Each spinner arm comprises at least one spinner disposed on its outer surface. Each spinner arm is attached to the main frame using a spinner arm knuckle-like joint which allows the spinner arm assemblies to move in both a horizontal and a vertical plane. Hay deflectors are attached under each spinner arm in front of the spinners to prevent wrapping of hay around rotating parts and to assist in moving tile hay toward the entrance of the baler.

  • Patent number: 4275552
Abstract: A haymaking machine comprising at least one rotatably mounted rotor assembly a plurality of tine assemblies pivotally mounted on the rotor assembly eccentrically of the rotational axis thereof, linkage means coaxially mounted at one end on the tine assemblies and pivotable relative thereto, and to the rotor assembly, actuation means on the rotor assembly, and connecting means extending between the actuation means and the linkage means, the linkage means being connectible in at least one operating condition to the tine assemblies so as to be movable in unison therewith, the arrangement being such that in that operating condition the actuation means cause the tine assemblies to pivot from extended, crop-engaging positions to retracted, crop-releasing positions and vice versa.
