Acting Simultaneously With Rake Patents (Class 56/400.07)
  • Patent number: 9949429
Abstract: An adjustable guided rake apparatus and method, which enable an adjustable guided rake user to configure an adjustable rake guide to a specified height in relation to a secondary surface, which will then define the height of the grading edge of the grading rake head in relation to a primary surface. The adjustable guided rake user is able to move the grading rake head along a primary surface, in order to shift material along the surface, while the adjustable rake guide runs along the secondary surface, guiding the grading rake head.

  • Patent number: 9732527
Abstract: A ski device for use in combination with a snow removal device (such as a roof rake). The ski device includes ski portions that may be used to protect a surface (such as a roof surface) from damage by preventing a head of the snow removal device from directly contacting and scraping along the surface from which snow, ice, and/or debris is to be removed. The ski device also allows the amount of clearance between the head of the snow removal device and the surface to be adjusted. This allows a user to position the ski device to provide for a desired amount of clearance, which allows for adjustment of the amount of snow, ice, and/or debris that is to be removed, as well to allow for clearance of other structures (such as rain deflectors, etc.) on the surface.

  • Patent number: 7162857
Abstract: A scraping adapted for attachment to the raking head of a conventional rake includes a substantially elongated adapter body defining a body first longitudinal edge, an opposed body second longitudinal edge and a pair of substantially opposed body longitudinal ends. The adapter body is configured so as to provide a substantially longitudinally extending scraping section adjacent the body first longitudinal edge. The scraping adapter also includes a body-to-head attachment structure for attaching the adapter body to the raking head with the head base and body longitudinal axis in a parallel relationship relative to each other and the scraping section positioned opposite the rake tines.

  • Patent number: 6526737
Abstract: An attachment for a garden rake includes a transversely curved hoe-like blade cut from twelve inch diameter polyvinyl chloride plastic pipe. The blade has a transverse circumferential dimension greater than the length of the teeth of the rake and a length greater than the length of the rake head bar. The blade is removably attached to the teeth of the rake by compatibly curved washers, also cut from the same plastic pipe, such that the teeth are sandwiched between the blade and the washers, the assembly being held in place by bolts and wing nuts.

  • Patent number: 6442921
Abstract: A method of raking with a tractor having a rear horizontally elongated hydraulic blade. After attachment the rake can be can be lifted, lowered, and pressed down into the soil or gravel etc. being raked with hydraulic power. The method comprises the following steps: providing a horizontally elongate member adapted to be carried adjacent, parallel to, and beneath the bottom portion of the blade, said member having teeth spaced along and extending downwardly therefrom; providing blade attachment devices affixed along the elongate member for releasably attaching the member beneath the bottom portion of the blade; and, releasably attaching the elongate member to the blade on the tractor. In a preferred embodiment of this invention the elongated member comprises a channel, the blade attachment devices comprise arms which extend from opposite side portions of the channel and surround the blade, and the teeth comprise hardened replaceable bolts.
