Abstract: An apparatus for combines for the collection of threshed material discharged from the combine and automatically dumping the collected material when a predetermined weight of material is accumulated. The apparatus includes a threshed material collector attached to the combine for rotation about a horizontal axis that is closer to a forward end of the collector than a rearward end of the collector. The collector includes a plurality of horizontally spaced tines extending in a rearward direction and position to collect material discharged from the combine. A counter weight is attached to the collector for controlling the amount of material collected before the collector rotates under the weight of the collected material to a dumping position where the collected material is removed from the collector.
Abstract: An agricultural bale accumulator (100) includes a load bed (113) and a load bed extension module (102). The load bed extension module (102) includes an extension table (104) pivotally connected to a side (124) of a load bed (113) by a hinge mechanism (122). The hinge mechanism (122) permits the load bed extension module (102) to move relative to the load bed (113) between a stowed position, perpendicular to the load bed (113), and an unstowed position, co-planar with a load bed (113) and adjacent to the side (124) of the load bed (113). The agricultural bale accumulator (100) has a first lateral width dimension (160) when the first extension table (104) is in the stowed position to provide a first bale accumulating capacity and a first bale discharging capacity.

Abstract: An agricultural bale accumulator (100) comprises a load bed extension module (102) including at least one extension table (104) pivotally connected to a side (124) of a load bed (113) by a hinge (122) and moveable relative to the load bed (113) between a stowed position and an unstowed, bale accumulating, position which is co-planar with a load bed (113) and adjacent to the side (124) of the load bed (113). The agricultural bale accumulator (100) has a first lateral width dimension (160) when the first extension table (104) is in the stowed position to provide a first bale accumulating capacity. The agricultural bale accumulator (100) has a second lateral width dimension (161), greater than the first lateral width dimension (160), when the first extension table (104) is in the unstowed position to provide a second bale accumulating capacity, greater than the first bale accumulating capacity. An extension table support system (130) connected to a main frame (120) and/or the extension table (104).

Abstract: A three-bale load is accumulated on the trailer as bales issue from the rear of the baler, whereupon the accumulated bales may be dumped all at the same location or singly as may be desired. Successive bales issuing from the baler arrive at a central platform from which they are alternately distributed to laterally disposed side platforms in an automated procedure. Once a side platform receives its bale, lockout mechanism prevents the transfer device from presenting the side platform with another bale until such time as the previous bale has been dumped. Once a bale has been dumped from a platform, the transfer device is automatically actuated, if indeed the next bale is ready to be transferred, for loading of the next bale onto the awaiting side platform.
