Patent number: 9006482Abstract: A process for preparing methylene bis-(dialkylamino-dithioformate) in one step includes: simultaneously feeding all or part of four raw materials: dialkylamine, an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, dichloromethane and carbon disulfide through a constant-flow pump into a continuous flow reactor; performing the reactions in the continuous flow reactor under a temperature of 10 to 100° C. and with a residence time of 10 to 100 s; simply separating of the obtained reaction products to give the final product. The process synthesizes the product in one step by using the continuous flow reactor. The rapid mass transfer and heat transfer in the continuous flow reactor promote the main reaction, reduce side reactions, improve the product color, and shorten the operation time. Moreover, the yield is relatively high and the quality of the final product meets the requirements.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2014Date of Patent: April 14, 2015Assignees: China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Research Institute of Nanjing Chemical Industrial CorporationInventors: Zhiyong He, Wei Huang, Weiwei Kong, Lei Ren, Junyan Ping

Patent number: 6534675Abstract: Zinc dithiocarbamates are obtained in especially readily filterable form and high purity when zinc salts are first added, in aqueous solution, to the secondary amines underlying the zinc carbamates, so that a zinc salt complex of the amines is formed, and carbon disulfide and then sodium hydroxide solution are then introduced, with stirring, into the aqueous suspension so obtained, the temperatures being maintained in the range from room temperature to the boiling temperature of carbon disulfide until the reaction has completely finished.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2001Date of Patent: March 18, 2003Assignee: Bayer AktiengesellschaftInventors: Rüdiger Schubart, Hans-Wilhelm Engels

Patent number: 5744629Abstract: The invention relates to improved manufacture of methylene bis-(dibutyl-dithiocarbamate) with ASTM coulour less than 2, by reacting aqueous solutions of dibutyl amine and sodium hydroxide with carbon disulfide, treating the obtained reaction product with methylene dichloride, followed by vacuum stripping, phase separation and filtration of the precipitated sodium chloride. According to the invention, during reaction with carbon disulfide the temperature of the mixture is kept at or below 15.degree. C. and the vacuum stripping is performed in two steps, first between 45.degree. C. and 100.degree. C. and at a pressure of 5-50 kPa, then phase separation is carried out at a temperature between 35.degree. C. and 50.degree. C., followed by stripping the separated organic phase in vacuum also at a temperature between 45.degree. C. and 100.degree. C. and at a pressure of 5-50 kPa.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1996Date of Patent: April 28, 1998Assignee: MOL Magyar Olaj- es Gazipari Rt.Inventors: Bela Jover, Janos Forstner, Jozsef Petro, Szabolcs Szoboszlay, Imre Fekete, Karoly Csergo, Gyula Sztreharszki, Gyula Raksi, Janos Kiss, Ferenc Miko, Jeno Baladincz, Jozsef Toth

Patent number: 4967007Abstract: A process is disclosed for the manufacture of 1-substituted amino-1-substituted thio-2 nitro alkenes of the general formula: (R1NH) (R2S) C.dbd.CR3 (NO2) wherein R1, R2, R3, may be same or different and may consist of hydrogen, alkyl, aryl or arylalkyl groups or combinations thereof. These alkenes are prepared by reacting a primary amine with a compound of sulfur in the presence of a primary catalyst to obtain a carbonimidodithioic acid salt which is converted to a corresponding ester which is thereafter reacted with a nitro compound in the presence of a secondary catalyst. 1-methylamino-1-methylthio-2-nitroethene is an important intermediate in the synthesis of Rantitidine and Nizatidine which are used as effective drugs in the treatment of peptic ulcers and associated gastrointestinal disorders.Type: GrantFiled: May 16, 1989Date of Patent: October 30, 1990Assignee: Council of Scientific & Industrial ResearchInventors: Abdul R.
