Abstract: An apparatus for feeding a set of threads (25) to a feeding head at a robot arm (10) which is freely movable in the room. The apparatus comprises a first arm segment (11) which protrudes at an angle from the robot arm (10), and which is pivotally connected with an inner end to the robot arm and constitutes a carrier for a first set of thread guide loops (13). The apparatus also comprises a second arm segment (16) which is pivotally connected to a pivot point (15) at the outer end of the first arm segment (11) and which second arm segment forms a carrier for a second set of thread guide loops (13).
Abstract: An apparatus for calendering cords with elastomeric material which has a main guide board and guide rolls located at the entrance side of the main guide board, with the guide rolls being located along columns of holes in the main guide board and being freely rotatably supported, the guide rolls making the inclined angles of cords, relative to the centerline of the holes, smaller near the holes in order to reduce the friction between the cords and the holes so as to consequently reduce the problem of curling of the coated cords.
Abstract: A guide device (20) for separating a plurality of yarn passages comprising:a rod member (24) movable in its lengthwise direction;a plurality of slide members (25a-25d), provided with yarn guides (22) and movable along the rod member (24);the rod member (24) and the slide members (25a-25d) are inserted into and movable along a hollow cylindrical guide rail member (21);the rod member (24) having at least a pair of guide pulleys (30), which sandwich the slide members (25a-25d) between them;a strand-like member (28) wrapping around the guide members (30);the strand-like member (28) is connected to one of the slide members (25a-25d) and a stationary member;connecting members (26) having engaging members (26b) at ends thereof are loosely inserted between adjacent slide members (25a and 25b, 25b and 25c, 25c and 25d); andthe distance between the engaging members (26b) of the connecting member (26) is equal to the sum of the distance between the yarn guides (22) under yarn passages separating condition and the thickn
Abstract: A traversing core yarn guide for use on spinning frames mounts to an existing silver trumpet bar in a manner which allows the bar to be traversed, while the guide is provided with a hinge that allows it to be raised to a position which will not interfere with a concurrent raising of the top roll mechanism of the frame. The guide includes an interchangeable wing portion having yarn guiding inserts on its respective ends, such inserts being either of a ceramic, porcelain, pin or pulley construction.
Abstract: The rotary yarn guide for cooperating with a spindle in a textile machine comprises an externally cylindrical, hollow guide member 4 having inlet and outlet ends for guiding the yarn, a ball bearing 7 surrounding the guide member and having inner and outer races 8 and 9, the inner race being rigid with the guide member, a permanent magnet 6 for cooperating with a spindle in order to rotate the guide member, a magnet-supporting member 5 for securing the permanent magnet with the guide member, and an outer casing 13 fixed to the outer race of said ball bearing.
