    Abstract: A method of assembling a resolver rotor to a hub of a transmission assembly is provided. The method includes: forming a generally axially extending groove in an outer surface of the hub, the groove extending at an assembly angle greater than 0 degrees relative to an axial direction from a hub end toward a hub base, the assembly angle being positive in a direction that is opposite to a rotation direction of the hub in use; forming a projection on an inner surface of the resolver rotor, the projection being configured to have an interference fit with the groove upon assembly; and assembling the resolver rotor onto the hub with the at least one projection traveling along and interfering with a portion of the at least one groove as the resolver rotor moves to a seated position toward the hub base. A transmission assembly is also provided.

In addition, the transverse grooves or ridges may also be dimensioned such that the height of the ridge crests is sufficiently high to insure that the bands are sufficiently held back by the ridge crests to induce a rolling action.

Normal air pressure (pn) prevails inside the centrifuge (6) and spinning is carried out under normal air pressure (pn) inside the centrifuge. The reduced pressure (pu) is adjusted in such a way that, during rotation of the centrifuge (6), essentially only the bearing friction of the centrifuge still occurs but the air friction of the outer wall of the centrifuge (6, 35, 45, 53) against the housing (5') is largely suppressed.

    Abstract: A method for rewinding a spinning cake from a spinning pot of a pot spinning apparatus onto a rewinding body, preferably onto a tube as a yarn carrier, includes drawing a sliver to be spun in a drafting configuration, guiding the sliver in a pneumatic piecing aid, and depositing the sliver with a traversing yarn guide onto an inner wall surface of the rotating spinning pot as the spinning cake, while maintaining a requisite rotation for formation of a yarn. A yarn guide is moved toward the middle of the spinning cake in a last stroke being shorter than a next-to-last stroke of the yarn guide toward the middle of the spinning cake, once a predetermined size of the spinning cake is reached, before initiating rewinding of the spinning cake onto the rewinding body. A delivery of the sliver from the drafting configuration is stopped once a reversing point of the stroke is reached. The rewinding body is introduced into the spinning pot and the yarn is transferred onto the rewinding body.

At the stepped ends of the central sleeve there are fixed resilient damping elements by means of their radially inner annular parts, the external circumference of the damping elements, reduced by the height of the limiting gap between them and the housing, extends to the circumference of marginal orifices within the housing. The bore at the rotor end of the central sleeve is formed with a tolerance to provide a running fit with the rotor hub. The support of the invention is applicable especially in spinning machines operating with rotor speeds exceeding 60,000 RPM.

The containers of each group are suspended from a carrier having keyhole-shaped openings, the containers having necks which are receivable in the smaller ends of such openings and which are provided with external annular flanges seatable on the carrier adjacent the smaller ends of the openings to suspend the containers from the carrier. The spinning means comprises cups into which the containers are lowered by downward movement of the carrier, the latter then being moved horizontally to dispose the container necks in the larger ends of the openings in the carrier.
