A first block has a pressure actuating member screwed therewith and a coupling member fixed thereto. A second block is coupled with the first block turnably by the coupling member and has a closed-end hole on one side and a through hole on another side of the block. The tool is attached to the chain from an opening while positioned and engaging an edge projection of a tap bolt that is screwed with the first block with the closed-end hole or the through hole.

Abstract: A bicycle chain replacement part holder. In an embodiment, the part holder is a generally parallelepiped shaped resilient urethane rubber block with slight notches at the corner suitable for releasably securing the part holder in an interference snap-in fit pattern with the interior perimeter walls of a part holder aperture in a chain linking tool. Alternately, the part holder may be provided for separate use in a stand alone fashion. In an embodiment, a thru hole aperture is provided in the parts holder for use with a securing device, such as a key chain, so that the parts holder can be reliably secured to a known location, especially in the event that the parts holder is not secured to and within a chain linking tool.

Abstract: A fluid activated connecting pin removal tool, includes a body defining a first cavity adapted to receive a portion of a work piece and a second cavity positioned substantially perpendicular to and intersecting the first cavity. When a fluid activated cylinder is mounted to the body in a first orientation relative to the second cavity, expansion of the fluid activated cylinder results in a piston extending from the cylinder into the first cavity in which the work piece is positioned to exert a force upon a connecting pin connecting portions of the work piece. When the fluid activated cylinder is mounted to the body in a second orientation relative to the second cavity, the secondary cavity serves as a storage compartment for the fluid activated cylinder.

Abstract: In one aspect, a modular link conveyor chain including slats is capable of assuming a compressed and an expanded condition so as to permit side-flexing while moving along a forward run and a return run in an endless path. The chain is formed of links arranged in rows spaced apart in the conveying direction, the links of a first row including aligned apertures and the links of a second row including oversized apertures, such as slots, for aligning with the aligned apertures of the links in the first row. A first connector is associated with the corresponding apertures to interconnect the first and second rows of links. At least one elongated slat is mounted to the connector. The slat maybe mounted for pivoting movement between a first position forming at least part of a conveying surface along the forward run, and a second position along the return run.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing of power transmission chain 1 by interconnecting plural link plates 2 with pins 3. Individual pin pairs 3 are arranged and temporarily fixed to places. The link plates 2 are sequentially stacked in layers by press-fitting respective through-holes 4 of the link plates 2 about the respective pin pairs 3, whereby the link plates 2 are interconnected to form a circular chain (an endless loop). Subsequently, the individual pin pairs 3 are released from the temporarily fixed state. Thus, the manufacture of the power transmission chain 1 is decreased in the number of operation steps, so that the chain may be assembled easily.
