When the head is set spinning by the motor, the beaters are rotated for massaging the body to relax muscles or reduce cellulite. The beaters are easily removable from the slots for exchanging them with replacement beaters. Each beater is comprised of a resilient core, such as foam, completely enclosed by a flexible non-tacky cover, such as a neoprene or vinyl sheet. Although many resilient materials, such as foam, tend to be sticky enough to grab hair if exposed, the beaters do not grab hair because the resilient cores are completely enclosed by the non-tacky covers.

Abstract: The Hydrocussion Massager is a handheld electronic massager that uses both percussion and water pressure massage to give the user a great tool for therapeutic relaxation. The device is a handy easy-to-use tool that is easily connected to any showerhead or appropriate faucet. It uses three speeds of percussion massage and different levels of water pressure from a specially designed showerhead inside the massager. It is waterproof and cordless, but it is connected to a hose, which channels the water from a faucet into the massager.

Abstract: A chiropractic adjustor apparatus having an electromagnetic drive mechanism connected to an actuating means which causes a shaft to reciprocate. The reciprocating shaft is used to apply pressure or force directly to the spinal vertebrae of a body. The improvements of this device include a variable-controlled switch to enable the user to change the frequency of the reciprocation; a thermal cut-off switch that automatically turns off the power to the electromagnetic drive mechanism so that the device will stop reciprocating; and a suite of structures that work together to resist rotation when the device is in use.

Abstract: A percussive massager is provided having a housing supporting a motor having an output shaft rotatably driven thereby. At least one positioning member is movably connected to a percussion arm which is attached to the housing and operably connected to the motor output shaft. At least two massage nodes are operably connected to the percussion arm, one of which being attached to the positioning member, to form a massage surface and move toward and away from the housing to provide a percussive massage effect. A rotary mechanism is rotatable with respect to the percussion arm and drives the positioning member toward and away from a central region of the housing. An ancillary transmission has an output and an input for operably imparting rotation to the rotary mechanism such that the spacing of the massage nodes progressively increases and decreases.
