Abstract: The present disclosure provides in a method of treating muscle soreness or soft tissue oedema. The method comprises frictionally engaging a contact member of an apparatus with skin portions of a patient. The contact member of the apparatus is arranged to perform a substantially planar orbital motion along the skin portions. The method further comprises applying the substantially planar orbital motion along the skin portions of the patient so that soft tissue adjacent the skin portion is locally moved in a corresponding manner. The movement typically is a non-circular orbital movement having a base frequency and harmonics. The movement of the soft tissue results in a distortion of portions of lymph nodes located within the soft tissue whereby throughput of lymphatic fluid through lymph nodes is enhanced.

Abstract: The present invention provides a kneading head of massage machine that consists of a connecting rod and a set of spherical heads. One set of the spherical heads includes two and more; all the spherical heads located on ends of the connecting rod in different heights, or all the spherical heads can be integrated with the connecting rod into a whole body. When the massage machine adapting the kneading head is used on the human body, the stepped spherical heads will effort a great pushing force and a great pressing force on surface and deeper skin of the muscle of the human body simultaneously at different heights and positions so as to carry on massage in kneading method with a better effect for meeting the necessaries of the customers.

Abstract: A care or treatment attachment for a foot care apparatus, comprising at least one movable care or treatment element as well as a coupling piece, with which the attachment can be connected to the movement of a motor-driven driving shaft 8 inside the foot care apparatus 6. The attachment comprises a housing which is secured in position on the housing so that driving movement transmitted from the driving shaft does not move the housing. A coupling piece is movable mounted in housing and is supported movably corresponding to the driving movement transmitted from driving shaft of the foot care apparatus. The coupling piece at the driven side drives a power converter for the conversion of the driving movement into a differing movement which powers the one or more movable care or treatment attachments.

Abstract: A cyclically driven, straightly and reciprocally moving massage device for positioning rotary massage components is installed in the interior section of a back massage chairs or pillows, enabling an axial moving applied upon the user. The massage components of the device are capable of rotating and straightly moving continuously. The device consists of a base plate having a driving gear and a driven gear, and a base mounting plate. The base plate has studs for pivotably mounting the driving disk and driven disk, respectively. A cyclically moving chain or a timing belt is installed around the outer circumference of the driving disk and the driven disk so as to formed with a loop for transmitting moving forces. Furthermore, different structural type massage components are selectively utilized to provide continuous rotation modes without any power supply or circuit wiring on the base mount to thereby facilitate the maintenance of motion.

Abstract: A vertically-oscillating spa massager for use in a hydrotherapy hot tub by a bather, and having a massager component slidably and captively mounted on a vertical track of a base member mounted on the hot tub. The massager component oscillates in a vertically reciprocating manner on the vertical track preferably by means of a rotating drive arm pivotally attached to the base member at a pivot end and slidably connected at a swing end through an elongated aperture on the massager component. The rotating drive arm is preferably driven by a water driven turbine. Additionally, the massager component has at least one convex surface, preferably a roller, which is used to apply contact pressure on a bather and rollably perform the massage as the massager component oscillates.
