The cavity is configured to receive a pet treat. The device also includes at least one cutout extending into the body and intersecting the at least one cavity to expose a pet treat disposed in the at least one cavity. The device further includes at least one set of dental cleaning mechanism positioned on at least a portion of a perimeter of the at least one cutout. The pet treat as disposed in the at least one cavity and partially exposed by the cutout encourages a pet to chew the dental device at the cutout such that the pet's teeth contact the dental cleaning mechanism and cleans the pet's teeth.

The positioning tool generally includes a handle having an elongate shaft and a soft chewy formed on and extending from a first end of the elongate shaft.
