Abstract: A door panel for a refrigerating appliance includes an inner liner. An outer wrapper is attached to the inner liner and defines an insulating structure with an insulating cavity disposed therein. An insulating material is defined within the insulating cavity. A dispenser structure is defined within a central portion of the inner liner and the outer wrapper. The dispenser structure defines an insulated dispenser portion therein. A dispenser conduit extends from an interior area disposed above the dispenser structure to an external dispensing cavity and passing through the insulated dispenser portion.

Abstract: A portable, insulated ice dispenser stores ice in a closed container and dispenses it into a glass or cup without contact with the hands or utensils that could cause contamination. The ice dispenser can be manually operated to dispense ice. An ice storage compartment can include holes to drain water from the ice, slowing the melting of the ice and preventing the water from being dispensed. The ice dispenser is sanitary and simple in its design, making it low maintenance, inexpensive, and very appealing for home use as well as commercially. Since it is portable, the ice dispenser can be transported to anywhere its user would like to dispense ice and can be used outdoors at events, for example.
Abstract: An air cooling device includes a thermally insulated container being packed with encapsulated refrigerant and adapted to pass incoming air for cooling. The air cooling device has a housing adapted to accommodate the thermally insulated container and force the incoming air to flow inside the refrigerant-packed container against gravity to ensure a prolonged air cooling period. The encapsulated refrigerant is configured as a plurality of compacted frozen glycol balls serving as primary source of cooling for the incoming air. Air pockets are formed between the frozen glycol balls that serve as secondary source of cooling for the incoming air.
Abstract: An ice bin insert (10) separates a single store of ice pieces into separate stashes, namely, into potable and non-potable portions. The insert (10) includes a divider (C, D) dimension to be received within an ice holding cavity of an ice bin (30). Support members (B, E) attached to the divider (C, D) hold the divider (C, D) at a desired position within the ice holding cavity of the ice bin (30). A plurality of perforations (12) are arranged within the divider (C, D) so as to permits ice pieces to flow from a first side thereof to a second side thereof while inhibiting retrieval of ice pieces on the second side from the first side. Preferably, the insert (10) is constructed from a unitary sheet of stainless steel which is bent to define the respective portions or sections thereof.
Abstract: A refrigeration system for a catering truck includes a reservoir of ice cubes. A food compartment is provided for storing food under refrigeration and includes a cooling section adjacent thereto. Ice cubes are fed from the reservoir to the cooling section. A blower circulates cool air from the cooling section through the food compartment.
