Abstract: A locking ring includes a first annular band portion and a second annular band portion. The locking ring includes a first and second cutout on at least one end of the respective first and second semi-annular band portions. The ring configuration is made by bringing the first and second semi-annular band portions together. A key member is to be inserted within the first and second cutout to thereby lock the first and second annular band portions into a ring configuration to be worn on a finger. The key member is to be released when the ring configuration is under a threshold pressure to thereby allow the first and second semi-annular band portions to be unlocked.

Abstract: An airborne pathogen extraction system that provides for continuous airborne pathogen particle extraction from a specifically targeted area in a room or a specifically targeted area proximate to a user. The pathogenic particles are filtered and/or disinfected before the air is returned proximate to the originating location, or are directed an area away from the user(s). The airborne pathogen extraction systems and methods lower the chances of contagion or infection from airborne pathogens, such as viruses.

Abstract: A multi-function bracelet that includes a cylindrical base member and at least a pair of elastic jewelry members carried by the cylindrical base member The multi-function bracelet further includes at least one elastic ring member adapted to be stretched over the stretched over and received between the elastic jewelry members. When removed from the bracelet the elastic ring member can be worn in the hair as an elastic hair band. Thus, the multi-function bracelet serves to function as an ornamental piece of jewelry and also as a receptacle and storage device for an elastic hair band when the elastic hair band is not being worn in the hair of the wearer of the multi-function bracelet.

Abstract: A jewelry-forming component composing a body member having a first magnetized portion and a female element associated therewith for magnetically attracting and receiving a male element of another jewelry-forming component. The first magnetized portion of the body member provides a minimum magnetic strength that is sufficient to retain the male element within the female element and a maximum magnetic strength that can be overcome by a person's hand strength to separate the male and female elements. The female element defines a cavity having a depth sufficient to receive the male element at different positions therein, and this allows relative movement of the male and female elements to assist in providing the self-sizing nature of the article. The body member also includes a further element that is magnetically responsive for magnetically coupling with another jewelry-forming component, such that a plurality of such components can be magnetically coupled to form an article of jewelry.
