Abstract: A hair clip for styling hair comprising a pair of clipping elements with two to three clipping fingers having toothed ridges and/or an overlay of rubbery material, with or without holes in the center of the clipping fingers, to facilitate gripping and holding hair strands and segments of hair on the head while blow drying wet or semi-wet hair to create volume and height to the resulting hair style without the use of mousse or gels. The hair clip is configured with an elastic connecting arrangement comprised of the thumb and forefinger grips of the clipping elements held together by a torsion spring or other compatible spring at the base of the hair clip.
Abstract: A band accessory includes, in one embodiment, a base strap, an accessory strap with at least one distal hole, and at least one hook removably securing the accessory strap to the base strap.

Abstract: Described are multifunctional jewelry rings and methods comprising a ring band section, a base, a restraining device, and a ring top. The restraining device has a central portion extending through the base and the ring band section and has first and second end portions extending from a bottom surface of the base. In a first state, the restraining device holds a finger in place against the ring band section. In a second state, the restraining device holds a bundle of hair together against the ring band section. The ornamental ring top is removably attached to the base.

The retainer body includes a first outside retainer projecting from the first retainer body and a first inside retainer projecting from the first retainer body. The first securing member opposes the second securing member for cooperatively securing the refractive element array. The securing members have a deployed position and a not deployed position. Abstract: A hair clip with an efficient clamping jaw construction that contains an ornamental design and can accommodate a large variety of ornaments having numerous colors and shapes without increasing the problem of hair entanglement is disclosed. The hair clip comprises a top jaw having a flat center portion and two side wing portions, a bottom jaw opposing the top jaw for grasping hair in cooperation with the top jaw and a jaw opening mechanism for opening the top jaw and the bottom jaw. The side wing portions of the hair clip are disposed at an angle substantially 45 degrees with respect to the center portion. The hair clip allows the consumer to create their own style and color of ornamentation that is easily and securely accommodated to the hair clip and also a manufacturer to modify or customize the ornamentation to suit fashion trends.
