  • Patent number: 10704181
Abstract: A first positioning structure is arranged at the bottom of the inner tub of a washing machine, and a second positioning structure is arranged at the bottom of the outer tub. When the two positioning structures come into concave-convex cooperation, the inner tub is locked; and when the two positioning structures separate from each other, the inner tub is unlocked. A locking hole is formed at the bottom of the inner tub; a stretchable and contractible locking rod is arranged at the bottom of the outer tub; when the locking rod projects into the locking hole, the inner tub is locked; and when the locking rod separates from the locking hole, the inner tub is unlocked. During washing, the inner tub is locked without water between the inner tub and the outer tub.

  • Patent number: 10358759
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a composite balance ring and a washing machine. The balance ring is internally hollow to form a chamber. The chamber is horizontally provided with a partition plate which divides the chamber into upper and lower chambers. The upper and lower chambers communicate through an overflow structure and a backflow structure, and the chamber is filled with balancing liquid with a level close to the partition plate. During the dehydration process of the washing machine, the balancing liquid in the lower chamber overflows into the upper chamber by a low overflow speed through a narrow gap that forms the overflow structure, and the balancing liquid remaining in the lower chamber provided with a counterweight force in the inner tub, so that the increase of eccentric displacement of the inner tub due to eccentric flowing of the balancing liquid is avoided.

Abstract: Acoustically insulated machines have an internal source of noise and an insulation member. The insulation member may include a plurality of porous, sound absorbing layers and a plurality of dense or facing layers attached to faces of the sound absorbing layers. The dense or facing layers each have a density that is greater than the densities of the sound absorbing layers. The insulation member may be oriented such that one of the dense or facing layers faces toward the internal source of noise. The insulation member may be configured such that most of the low frequency sound energy generated by the internal source of noise is not reflected back into the machine. That is, the dense or facing layer may be configured to allow a majority of low frequency sound energy from the internal source of noise to pass into the insulation member.

  • Patent number: 8297083
Abstract: Disclosed is a washing machine having ball balancers, which adjust a relation between a gap, between the inner wall of a racer of each of the ball balancers and balls, and viscous oil, so as to reduce the vibration and noise of the washing machine. Each of the ball balancers of the washing machine includes balls and viscous oil accommodated in a racer, and the viscosity of the viscous oil is varied in proportion to a gap between the racer and the balls. When the viscosity of the viscous oil is 1˜100 cSt, the gap is set to 0.5˜1.0 mm, when the viscosity of the viscous oil is 100˜380 cSt, the gap is set to 1.0˜2.0 mm, and when the viscosity of the viscous oil is 380˜1,000 cSt, the gap is set to 2.0˜3.0 mm. Thereby, the relation between the gap and the viscous oil is optimized, and the ball balancers effectively exhibit a balancing function and thus minimize the vibration and noise of the washing machine.
