Abstract: A washing machine containing a tub and basket placed within the tub, a basket bottom, a driving shaft coupled to the basket, a motor coupled to the driving shaft, a propeller located within the bottom and impelled by an end of the driving shaft, the propeller containing a scrubber, a center and a support, the scrubbers have a transversal section made from at least three arch circumference sections; a lower face of the propeller has a fin, which along with the bottom, functions as a centrifugal pump creating a current or washing liquor flow which is led through the water tower. In a preferred embodiment, the driving shaft has a solar gear coupled thereto which rotates a satellite gear and over the upper face of the support and between the scrubbers a mini-propeller is provided, the satellite gear is coupled to an axis that rotates the mini-propeller.

Abstract: A drying apparatus has a casing, a cavity formed in the casing for receiving an object, and a fan located in the casing and creating an airflow. At least one slot-like opening communicates with the fan and is arranged in the casing so as to direct an airflow transversely across the cavity. The slot-like opening is formed between opposing walls which are manufactured from a thermosetting plastics material. By manufacturing the walls of the slot-like opening from a thermosetting plastic material such as melamine, the walls of the slot-like opening can be molded economically instead of machined from metal. The thermosetting plastic material is dimensionally stable when moulded, thermally resistant and impact resistant.

Abstract: A modular laundry system comprises first and second laundry appliances in a horizontal arrangement and first and second single width horizontal modules. The first single width horizontal module is vertically arranged with the first laundry appliance, and the second single width horizontal module is vertically arranged with the second laundry appliance. At least one of the first and second single width horizontal modules is a laundry care module having an associated laundry care function.

Abstract: This invention relates to new compositions and methods for cleaning textile substrates, especially carpet and upholstery fabrics. More particularly, this invention relates to liquid compositions that contain absorbent particles in a flowable fluid dispersion, which dries to a soil ladened powder, that can be removed by vacuuming, brushing, and/or laundering methods. The composition includes dispersion stabilizing additives such that the composition is presented as a stable dispersion or as a composition that may be easily redispersed prior to application.

Abstract: A collar cleaning system for dress shirts comprising a slide plate, a guiding plate, a pressured soap-water spraying subsystem and a rotating brush is presented. The shirt collar is loaded onto the sliding plate and moved under the rotating brush while being sprayed with soap water to remove the dirt ring around the collar.

Abstract: An automatic washing machine for shoes which has a water tub incorporating a dehydrating tub which is provided with inner brushes which are mounted with shoes and vertically moved, outer brushes which are arranged to come in contact with external surface of shoes and vertically moved in opposite directions to the inner brushes, and driving means for driving the inner and outer brushes; the water tub is provided with a discharging mechanism to discharge water as required from the water tub and with a lifting head section which opens and closes an opening of the water tub at a position above the water tub and the head section is provided with an air nozzle for drying washed shoes to blow air for drying into the dehydrating tub while the opening of the water tub is closed by the head section.
