Abstract: A device to capture the relative position of a component (14) of which the position can change relative to a reference component (12) of a washing handling device (10), in particular a washing machine or drier, includes at least one light source (34, 38, 42), at least one light receiver (36, 40, 44), a light-reflecting surface (50, 52), which reflects light which the light source (34, 38, 42) emits to the light receiver (36, 40, 44). The device is designed to capture the present relative position of the changeable-position component (14) relative to the reference component (12), according to the reflected light which the light receiver (36, 40, 44) captures.

Abstract: Washing machine for the washing of laundry such as clothes and textiles, which washing machine has a main part that comprises: an inlet, for supplying washing water, an outlet, for disposal of washing water, a pump, in order to pump the washing water, a connection unit for fluid tight connection of a washing bag to the main part. The washing bag has fluid tight walls and is removably connectable to the connection unit of the main part, wherein the pump is arranged to pump water and air from the washing bag in order to create a certain negative pressure inside it with respect to the surrounding atmospheric pressure and by that emptying it of washing water.
Abstract: A piston press in which hydraulic lines (32) of a hydraulic cylinder (19) move a ram plate (21) up and down with relatively large diameters, and in which use is made of a hydraulic pump (33) with a continuously adjustable delivery flow, in particular with constant output regulation, making it possible to move the ram plate (21) more quickly in the unloaded or less loaded state, by which means the operating time is shortened considerably as compared with known piston presses (10).
Abstract: A washing machine, provided with a twistable washing tub inside a perforated spin-drying tub for improving its cleaning effect, is disclosed. The twistable washing tub is repeatedly twisted and untwisted at its sidewall during a washing process, thus repeatedly compressing and releasing the laundry and improving the laundry cleaning effect. The washing machine includes an outer tub containing water therein, and a drive unit installed at a position outside the outer tub and generating rotating force. A washing tub is rotatably set within the outer tub, and is connected to the drive unit at its lower portion. This washing tub is twistable and deformable at its sidewall to compress the laundry contained therein during a rotating action of the washing tub.

Abstract: An automatic laundry washing machine that is suitable for use in living units having no area set aside for laundry facilities is achieved by replacing the heavy bulky parts of the currently popular automatic washing machine design with a light flexible bag. A large portion of the volume of any washing machine is the vessel for containing the laundry solution and articles to be washed. That vessel is a flexible bag made of modern durable material so as to be collapsible both while in use and for storage. The method of use includes the complete process of washing, rinsing, and extracting excess water in an automatic cycle analogous to standard automatic washing machines popular today. The vessel containing the items being laundered is a waterproof laundry bag with automatic washing apparatus attached. Items are automatically washed in that bag.

Abstract: A dosing and dispensing device for liquid detergent has a hollow body and a dispenser. The hollow body has an opening for receiving liquid detergent. The dispenser spreads the liquid detergent onto a fabric to pretreat the fabric. The dispenser has a cavity and a ball positioned within the cavity. The cavity has a mouth, lips, and an orifice. The ball is retained by the lips and communicates with the orifice. The diameter of the mouth is at least slightly smaller than the diameter of the ball such that the ball protrudes partly outside of the mouth. In addition, the ball rotates freely in all directions within the cavity.
Abstract: A laundering device for use in cleaning articles of clothing composed of a plurality of components adapted to be disassembled when not in use and stored in a container, the device is composed of a frame with downwardly extending removable support legs and a reciprocal shaft including either a motor drive or hand drive for reciprocating the shaft so that when the lower end, which extends between the legs is reciprocated within a flexible pliable bag of soapy water impervious material, a plunger attached to the shaft agitates the water so that the articles of clothing may be laundered.
