A plurality of rings is rotationally coupled to the cylinder. Indicia are coupled to and arrayed linearly around an outer surface of each ring. Each ring is selectively rotatable around the cylinder, such that the rings are randomly positionable and wherein the indicia are arrayed in a plurality of parallel rows that extends between the opposing ends of the cylinder.

Abstract: A combination key lock box comprising a body housing has a storage compartment which has holes to receive the toe of a shackle and the heel of the shackle. The heel or long-leg of the shackle remains inside of the body housing and the toe or short-leg can be moved away from the body to a lock releasing position. The shackle can be released from the body from the locked position to the open position by pushing down on the shackle to turn the dials to a correct combination. The heel of the shackle engages with the hole of the storage compartment cover to prevent the storage compartment from unlocking until the shackle has been released.

Abstract: A combination lock includes a lock body, a shackle, a blocker, and a plurality of dials. The shackle includes a long leg and a short leg. The blocker is disposed within the lock body and is movable in an axial direction between a shackle securing position, in which the blocker causes at least one locking member to engage with the shackle, and a shackle releasing position, in which the blocker allows the at least one locking member to disengage from the shackle for separation of the short leg from the lock body. Each dial includes a recess disposed on an outer periphery of the dial. When each dial is rotated to an unlocking orientation, each recess aligns with a corresponding dial engaging portion of the blocker, allowing the blocker to move from the shackle securing position to the shackle releasing position.

Abstract: By providing a magnifying member which is securely affixed to the housing of a combination padlock in cooperating association with the rotating dials thereof, an easily produced, combination padlock is achieved which provides a display zone for the pre-set combination wherein the indicia formed on each of the dials is easily seen and readily visible for any user. By positioning the magnifying member in overlying, aligned relationship with the rotatable dials, the visibility of the indicia formed on each dial is greatly enhanced. As a result, any user is able to immediately determine and recognize the different indicia formed on each rotatable dial, and quickly position the combination of indicia which represent the preselected combination for releasing the shackle from locked engagement with the housing.

Abstract: A padlock having a latch with a large field angle comprises a housing combined by a pair of opposed casings, a latch disposed within the pair of opposed casings, a pushing block for driving the latch to rotate, and a number selecting device for controlling the pushing block to be shifted. When the number selecting device is selected to a correct number sequence, the pushing block is permitted to be pushed into the casings to drive the latch to pivotally retract within the housing. Thereby, the latch can be opened in a large field angle to facilitate the use of the padlock.
