    Abstract: A removable firearm chamber-obstruction mechanism includes a locking mechanism including at portion configured to be inserted in a chamber of a firearm and engage the chamber so as to be locked in place. The locking mechanism includes one or more finger actuators, a thumb bar actuator engaged with the one or more finger actuators, a release key connected to the thumb bar actuator, and a tooth key disposed in abutment against the release key. A handle covers the locking mechanism, and a lid encloses the handle. The locking mechanism locks and unlocks the tooth key upon a successful manual actuation of the one or more finger actuators and the thumb bar actuator, such that the tooth key engages the chamber in a locked position and is unengaged from the chamber in an unlocked position.

    Abstract: A key for opening multiple axial pin locks has a base member with an indexing element and a number of lock pins, configured to match the keyways of the locks. The key has a microprocessor with access to information on the pin configuration for each lock to be opened, and the lock pins are selectively positioned along the base member to match the configuration of a key for a particular lock in response to the user entering an identification code for that lock. The lock pins can slidably engage recessed tracks in the base member, which serve to direct the lock pins parallel to an axis of the base member. A pin latching mechanism can be provided to secure the lock pins in the desired position.

    Abstract: A linkage anti-theft lock head comprises a lock tube (16), a lock core (2), a brake bar (19), a front tumbler (6) with its return spring (20), a rear tumbler (9) with its return spring (20) and a key (1). Clearance fits are provided between the front tumbler (6) and the rear tumbler (9) with the holes (26) distributed axially on the lock core (2). The brake bar (19) is mounted axially along the lock core (2). Brake teeth of the brake bar (19) engage with the teeth grooves of the front tumbler (6) and the rear tumbler (9). Said engagement is a linkage engagement. A brake groove (17) is set on the lock tube (16) to match with the brake bar (19). The tumblers, the brake bar (19) and the lock core (2) constitute a cant device, wherein the front tumbler (6) and the rear tumbler (9) act as moving cams set oppositely, the brake bar (19) acts as a driven member and the lock core (2) acts as a rack.

    Abstract: A key-operated pin tumbler lock has a shell in which is rotatably disposed a plug that defines a keyway and a plurality of bores. The bores communicate with the keyway through the plug and in a locked position of the lock communicate with corresponding bores formed in the shell. A plurality of spring-loaded pin stacks are located within the bores and are moveable within the bores against the spring-loading by a key inserted in the keyway into a position wherein the plug can be rotated relative to the shell. A stop means is provided in one of the bores and is adapted to engage the pin stack which is located therein such that a key pin of the stack is prevented from penetrating into the plug to a level reached by key pins of the other pin stacks.

    Abstract: A lock box is provided with a locking cover held locked by a locking element. The lock mechanism is operated by the fingers of a hand actuating individual tumblers, one for each finger, simultaneously. The fingers push against the tumblers and the distance they push them is determined by the length of the fingers which are held by interdigital stops. The tumblers are spring biased against the finger motion. Each tumbler is provided with a stop and pass mechanism that is adjustable along the length of the tumbler to correspond to a particular finger length so that the pass elements of each tumbler will all be aligned to permit passage of the locking element when a particular hand actuates the mechanism, whereas hands of other elements will position at least one of the stop elements so that the locking element cannot pass and the container remains closed.

A press key is incorporated in one of the handle members and a key-operated lock is incorporated into the other knob. A clutch member is employed to connect and disconnect the latch bolt assembly to and from an actuating member which can engage with and disengage from a locking plate of the lock. The actuating member disengages from the clutch member and engages with the locking plate when the press key is depressed. When the lock is operated by a key, the actuating member is released from the locking plate and engages again with the clutch member.
