Abstract: Systems and methods for facilitating purchase transactions through real-time dynamic marketplace sessions are provided. A method may include pooling offers for goods/services to form a pooled offer, and pooling bids to form a pooled bid. The pooled offer and the pooled bid may be matched to form a pooled offer/bid pair. Methods for inducing and using predictive models for successful configuration of properties and participants with machine learning procedures that operate on data about successful and unsuccessful offers may be employed. A real-time dynamic marketplace session may be established between offer agents associated with the pooled offers and bid agents associated with the pooled bids. Upon a successful conclusion to the negotiation, a purchase transaction for the pooled offer/bid pair may be processed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method of realizing volume saving for consumers through the use of a web based system. In the claimed method at least one consumer and at least one supplier registers in a web based medium. Each is dynamically presented with a technological environment that is customized to perform at least one consumer task or at least one supplier task. The at least one consumer utilizes the technological environment to express an interest to enter into at least one consumer transaction, and to subordinate or subject this consumer transaction to at least one prerequisite condition. The disclosed technological environment also enables the at least one supplier to list at least one supplying transaction and subject such transaction to a perquisite condition or to a prerequisite minimum quantity condition. The present invention also discloses a mediator step, which is responsible for facilitating the meeting of the minds between at least one consumer an the at least one supplier.

Specifically, the invention includes methods and systems for creating order profiles used to select vendors for carrying out third-party sub-transactions needed to complete financial transactions. A product related to the completion of the financial transaction is selected, a vendor ordering profile is selected, a product vendor that most closely matches the characteristics designated in the ordering profile is selected, and the selected product is ordered from the selected product vendor.

Abstract: A system and method for providing online group-buying service is proposed. A group-buying company negotiates with a merchant to select a featured item to be sold on a group-buying website. The group-buying company and the merchant execute a binding agreement with regard to the feature item. The featured item is a product or service provided by the merchant to the group-buying company conditioned upon a first number of minimum sales. The group-buying company then advertises the feature item, and receives a number of orders from consumers purchasing the featured item. The group-buying company calculates a total number of sales and thereby determining a required remaining number of sales based on a second number of minimum sales. The group-buying company then processes the purchase orders if the required remaining number of sales has been reached.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method that includes identifying a social network of a plurality of entities, each entity is associated with at least one other entity in the social network. A group of entities is identified from the plurality of entities that have expressed an interest in any one of a plurality of items. A primitive-community for each of the groups of entities is determined for each distinct item of the plurality of items. Common sets of entities are determined within each primitive-community associated with the each distinct item of the plurality of items based on a minimum support level, using a frequent itemset mining approach, where the first primitive community and the second primitive community are treated as transactions and entities are treated as items. A union including all distinct entities from the common sets of entities is determined from the common sets of entities.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for migrating a computing environment entitlement contract (CEEC) from one computing resource to another. These mechanisms generate one or more CEEC data structures, each CEEC data structure defining terms of a business level agreement between a contracting party and a provider of the data processing system. A first request from a provider system is received requesting to be a buyer of a CEEC data structure. The first request comprises first selection criteria for selecting a seller of the CEEC data structure. A second request from a seller system that owns a CEEC data structure is received requesting to be a seller of the CEEC data structure. The second request comprises second selection criteria for selecting a buyer for the CEEC data structure. The provider system is paired with the seller system based on the first and second selection criteria and the CEEC data structure is migrated from the seller system to the provider system.

Abstract: Among other things, an online interface is provided in which a property owner enters information defining a specification of an intended energy system to be installed for the property owner. The specification is in sufficient detail to enable each of two or more different installers to provide commercial offers of an energy system that conforms to the specification. An online interface may be provided in which a property owner is presented with a guided sequence of interactive steps in which the property owner is prompted to enter information associated with energy systems that may be relevant to the property owner, the content of at least one of the later steps being dependent on the information entered by the user in a prior step. A selection of energy systems based on technical feasibility and suitability as determined from information provided by the property owner may be presented through the interface.

In response to an order indication, the client system sends to the server system a request to purchase the identified item. The items of the order are divided into zones, where the zones may determine the picking zone and/or packaging requirements for the item. Zone-based container plans are generated for the items in the order associated with each individual zone. A mixed container plan is also generated for all the items in the order regardless of the associated zone. If the number of logical shipping containers in the mixed container plan is less than the total number of logical shipping containers in the zone-based container plans, then a final container plan for the order is generated from the mixed container plan. Otherwise, the final container plan is generated by combining the zone-based plans for each zone associated with items in the order.
