Abstract: Aspects of distributed ledger technology are leveraged to verify subrogation settlements. In particular, two parties to a subrogation claim provide cryptographic hashes to a subrogation demand smart contract stored at an address on a blockchain. The subrogation demand smart contract determines that the parties have reached an agreement by determining that the cryptographic hashes match. A settlement amount from the subrogation claim may be appended to a set of settlement amounts to determine a net settlement amount to facilitate a single payment between the parties on a periodic basis, such as daily, to alleviate the need for the parties to send or receive a payment for each individual settlement amount.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media. One method includes: at a blockchain-based application, receiving a request for resolving a dispute between at least a first party and a second party. A time that the request is received on the blockchain is recorded. One or more potential dispute resolutions is received from one or more dispute resolution providers that are registered on the blockchain-based application. A first selection is received from the first party and a second selection from the second party. At least one of (i) at least one common potential dispute resolution between the first set of the one or more potential dispute resolutions and the second set of the one or more potential dispute resolutions, or (ii) that none of the potential dispute resolutions are acceptable to the first and second parties is determined.

Abstract: A system, method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for identifying resolutions have been disclosed. The system comprises a server device including a memory, a processor, and a network interface. The memory includes instructions executable by the processor to cause the system to record a series of actions associated with a client device and to receive, from the client device, incident data of an incident that is associated with the series of actions. The memory further includes instructions executable by the processor to cause the system to query a database for resolution information based on the series of actions and the incident data and to transmit a message that includes the resolution information to the client device.

Abstract: A system and method for resolving contract disputes utilitizes one or more computing devices to receive a dispute resolution request, invite other parties to submit a response to the dispute resolution request, and submit the dispute to a plurality of delegates based on the type of dispute and the qualifications of the delegates. The delegates provide dispute resolution decisions, and a consensus algorithm is applied to the decisions to arrive at a consensus contract outcome. A record of the consensus contract outcome, including the disputed contract and the nature of the dispute are recorded on a permissioned blockchain and also optionally recorded on an external blockchain distributed ledger.

Abstract: A method for processing disputes in a multi-tenant architecture system includes receiving, at a first service provider, a dispute request from a second service provider that manages entity identities of a plurality of customers. The dispute request indicates a disputed transaction between a customer of the plurality of customers and another entity. The method includes accessing an identity manager to determine a customer representation, the identity manager previously onboarded the plurality of customers as a plurality of customer representations. The identity manager is hosted by the first service provider that manages customer representations corresponding to entity identities of the customers. The dispute request is propagated with the customer representation to a dispute management engine that determines an outcome for the dispute, the determination based on characteristics of the disputed transaction and on characteristics of the customer.

The form-based Internet application via the series of tab forms is configured to enable and collect knowledge and insights from the group of participants during the stages of the issue-exploration process. The form-based Internet application has an open framework with the stages of the issue-exploration process in that an actual content of the ideas contributed by participants actively shapes a non-linear progression of the issue-exploration process from the initial issue to the current issue in the issue-exploration process.

These invitations can include access instructions and/or passwords. Before or during the session, supporting documents, videos, photos, etc. can be uploaded. When the session time arrives, the plaintiff and defendant can log in. Live streaming data can be provided by the plaintiff, defendant and moderator, who can each have a conferencing device or the like. Through the live streaming data, the moderator can facilitate a resolution of the dispute between the plaintiff and defendant.

The seed media is marked to allow performance of various operations, such as identification of the seed media during the lifetime of the package and attribution when the seed media is incorporated into consumer generated derivative media.

Abstract: A system is disclosed for handling post transactional credit disputes in real-time via a variety of transactional environments and architectures. The system includes one or more workstations linked to a communication channel and one or more servers with at least one having capability of displaying a plurality of pre-existing dispute handling forms. A party in dispute may access the forms, choose an appropriate dispute handling form, provide data in the pre-defined requested fields on the form, and transmit the form over the communication channel to a server for processing. A server accepts a User ID and password from a user, retrieves and displays a set of dispute handling forms, receives input entered on the forms, routes the forms to a second user in dispute, and makes the forms available for viewing to the second user. The program may further index the data entered on the forms using a code-based method.
