Abstract: A database management engine provides a user interface that allows users to access and modify employee information in a database. The database includes entries for employees, and each database entry includes identifying information about the associated employee. A user can request to modify data within database entries, for instance in order to update information associated with an employee. Responsive to the request, the database management engine identifies liabilities associated with the database modification stemming from associated tax laws. Based on the identified tax liabilities, the engine computes the aggregate tax liability owed by the employer and/or employee. Before modifying a database entry, the engine modifies the user interface to include interface elements detailing the computed aggregate tax liability. The user explicitly can be required to confirm the database modification in view of the aggregate tax liability.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for expense management are disclosed. A user may submit receipts for one or more transactions into an expense management system. The expense management system may extract information from the receipts and match the extracted information to one or more of a plurality of Records of Charge (ROCs). The expense management system may match the extracted information to a ROC based on vendor name, location, time stamp, and the like. The expense management system may further assign a ROC to an expense category. The expense management system may assign a ROC to an expense category based on a standard industrial classification (SIC) code of a merchant, a category assigned to a different ROC, and a location associated with the ROC. An expense report for all submitted receipts may be generated.

Abstract: A computing platform may receive, from a web server, entity identification information in different formats, and normalize the entity identification information. After normalizing the information, the computing platform may receive a plurality of interaction records each associated with an interaction between a system and a client of the system. The computing platform may compare the normalized entity identification information with the interaction records of the interactions between the system and the clients of the system. After determining that the entity identification information matches client information for one of the interaction records, the computing platform may send an alert to a control server. The alert may cause the control server to take one or more actions with respect to the client. For example, future attempts by the client to access one or more services offered by the system may be blocked for access by the client.

Abstract: When a local server that is connected to a wireless local area network (WLAN) receives a service request from a first electronic device, the server identifies a resource to provide one or more elements of the service. The server assigns the resource to provide the service element(s). The local server also selects one or more mutual distributed ledgers (MDLs) having parameters that correspond to the service request. The local server generates and transmits, to a gateway server, a transaction record having a format that corresponds to the selected MDL. This enables the local server to facilitate the delivery of services such as spectrum sharing, content streaming, and the like using WLAN-connected devices to facilitate delivery of the service. It also enables the gateway server to update each selected MDL with a transaction ledger that follows each selected MDL's format.

Abstract: The Multi-Source, Multi-Dimensional, Cross-Entity, Multimedia Centralized Personal Information Database Platform Apparatuses, Methods And Systems (“CPDB”) transform data aggregated from various computer resources using CPDB components into updated entity profiles and/or social graphs. Using generated correlations and associated attributes, the CPDB generates an updated profile and social graph of the entity. The CPDB provides the updated profile and social graph for an automated web form filling request.

Abstract: A device may receive information related to a first plurality of individuals and an individual. Each of the first plurality of individuals may be associated with a respective one or more accounts. The device may receive a request to match the individual and one or more individuals. The device may determine a match of the individual and the one or more individuals based on the information. The device may receive, from a user device associated with the individual, a selection of an account, of the respective one or more accounts, associated with another individual of the first plurality of individuals. The device may provide, for display to the other individual, a notification that the individual and the other individual have been matched and that the individual selected the account associated with the other individual. The device may perform one or more actions related to completing the transaction using the account.

Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to determine matching subjects for features provided in a stimulus. Subject information is pre-processed by receiving input (a feature type definition and a subject set) and building BitSets across all subjects in the subject set. The stimulus is received and includes stimulus features. For each feature type in the stimulus features, all feature type BitSets from the subject set that match are assembled. An evaluation BitSet is built by combining the assembled feature type BitSets. Matching subjects that match the stimulus are determined based on the evaluation BitSet.

Abstract: A computing device and method for managing an account. A computer displays a historical timeline and an event placement timeline. Past events are shown along the historical timeline, and future events along the event placement timeline. The computer suggest a change to the timing of one of the events. The user moves a movable object to the proposed timing to reschedule the event. The settings of the account are modified to automatically execute that event at the new timing.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for dynamic resource management for managing payment exception processing and maximize work flow. In this way, the system may lift data from financial documents received from sources to allow for exception processing. The exceptions may include one or more irregularities such as bad micro line reads, outdated check stock, or misrepresentative checks that may result in a failure to match the check to an associated account for processing. As such, once an exception is identified during the processing the exception is directed to an appropriate resource for processing. The system monitors work flow nodes and resource experience to prevent bottlenecks or underutilization. Furthermore, the system employs awards and gamification models for exception processing.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transferring funds to an user account include a payment service provider device receiving a request for fund transfer information for an user account from a payer device that is associated with a payer. The payment service provider device then provides a routing number that is associated with the payment service provider and a virtual account number that is associated with the user account to the payer device. The payment service provider device then receives information from a financial institution about a funds transfer to a payment service provider account that is provided to a payment service provider by the financial institution. The information about the funds transfer includes a funding amount and the virtual account number, and the payment service provider device allocates the funding amount to the user account using the virtual account number.

Abstract: A user interface that may be used to assist in the generation of a plan to improve a credit score of an individual. The user interface includes multiple trade line matched set visualizations, each set resulting from matching similar trade lines from multiple credit reports from multiple credit bureaus. Each of at least some of the trade line set visualizations is visually associated with one or more controls that may be interacted with by the user (e.g., by the individual about whom the credit reports relate), to select from an action to be performed with respect to the alleged event. The action may be a request to the credit bureaus to verify the information supporting the trade line, even without challenging the truth of the underlying information.

Abstract: A system and methods for leveraging a community of users to collaboratively identify bank or investment account transaction descriptions by providing common, more recognizable description, category and location information used most often by the community. A database may be maintained that is accessible by the customer/user community to view, update and provide understandable descriptions for such cryptic descriptions. The database may be searchable such that a customer/user may search a description to determine or update the source of the transaction.

Abstract: A system and method of tracking food consumption data for a payment cardholder is provided. The food consumption data is associated with restaurant food purchases made with a payment card, where each restaurant food purchase includes a transaction amount. The method includes comparing the transaction amount to a set of possible food order combinations totaling the transaction amount. A food order combination is selected that has a total price that matches the transaction amount. Nutritional information associated with each food item in the selected food order combination is retrieved and stored into a database.

Abstract: A device is configured to receive a text message sent by a user device to a centralized address. The text message includes text describing a command to be executed by a client device. The device obtains identification information identifying the user device based on the text message. Additionally, the device determines the client device associated with the user device based on the user identification information. The device generates the command described in the text message and provides the command to the client device for execution of the command.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for making disbursements to one or more consumers via a hosted disbursement system. In accordance with an embodiment, a method can comprise receiving, at a merchant service provider, a request to make a disbursement to a consumer from a merchant. The request can be received from a merchant server and include disbursement information corresponding to the disbursement. The method can further comprise receiving, at the merchant service provider, a selection of a distribution option from the user, which corresponds to a type of account to receive the disbursement. The method can further comprise receiving, at the merchant service provider, account information from the consumer. The account information is sent to the merchant service provider from a user device, bypassing the merchant server. The method can further comprise processing the disbursement using the account information to transfer funds corresponding to the disbursement to the consumer.

Abstract: A method for performing a transaction initiated with near field communication, NFC, interaction between a user terminal including a subscriber identity module residing in the user terminal and a NFC reader. In the method a request including an amount of the transaction and an identifier obtained from a secure element of the subscriber identity module residing in the user terminal is delivered and a payment card number corresponding to the identifier is obtained. Finally, a transaction request is initiated towards a transaction management system and in response to a successful acknowledgment from the transaction management system an acknowledgement on successful transaction is delivered, and in response to an unsuccessful acknowledgement from the transaction management system the transaction request, canceling the transaction.

Abstract: A system and method for reliably and securely recording and storing all attributes of personal identification, for the identification and authorization of individual identity as well as attributes relating to it and personal data including but not limited to individual's physical description, bank details, travel history, etc. (the “Personally Identifiable Information “PII”). PII can be difficult to manage in networks where correlation between data sources is required. Thus, in some embodiments, the system combines a distributed database to create a framework for a robust security. The system manages the distributed database to associate transactions, or actions, using data, digital signatures, and/or cryptographic keys, which can be unique to an individual.

Abstract: A mechanism for flexibly securing data is discussed. A data entry device analyzes data from a user with respect to a security industry whitelist and an originator list and an analysis result controls a masking level of the data. The security industry whitelist references types of data that is not subject to industry-defined encryption standards. The originator list references data originators that produce data requiring non-standard handling. The data from the user is transmitted to and further examined for non-compliance with a pre-defined criteria at a computing device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present methods and systems are directed to a system and method for managing and editing accounting periods. Particularly, the embodiments are directed to a financial management system that allows for the recordation of financial transactions without first requiring the creation of a user-defined accounting period, and that further allows for the creation, modification, and closure of defined accounting periods.

A report engine may provide metadata associated with a report for visualizing the data model. The report engine may be arranged to provide anchor points in the data model based on the metadata, the RACI information. The report engine may be arranged to provide a report template based on the anchor points, the RACI information, and the metadata such that the report template includes references to data objects selected automatically based on the metadata and the anchor points. The report engine may display a report based on the report template that provides visualizations based on values associated with the data objects.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards intermediate resource allocation tracking in data models. A data model that includes data objects traversed on a path through the data model that follows allocation rules that are included in the data model. If an aspect object is encountered during the traversal, resources from line items of a source data object are associated with line items of the aspect object based on the traversal path. The resources associated with the line items of the aspect object are also available for allocation to other data objects. If a data object, rather than an aspect object, may be encountered during the traversal, resources from line items of a source data object may be allocated to line items of the data object based on another of the allocation rules, the resources allocated to the line items of the data object are unavailable for further allocation.

Based on that information, the policy server can determine allocation of bandwidth, transmission priority and/or other network resources based on preferences and/or service selections provided by a subscriber and communicate information about those determinations to other network elements for policy implementation. The information provided to a policy server for determining network resource allocation can include information about one or more applications executing at a customer equipment device, information about access network bandwidth usage, information about services for which one or more devices is authorized, and/or information about network conditions.

Abstract: The present invention is a gap in care alert system for alerting someone associated with a patient (including in one embodiment the patient himself) that a gap in heath care will soon occur or in another embodiment that a gap in care has occurred for the patient based on the occurrence of a triggering event and the absence of a follow-up event occurring. Health insurance claims data may be used in the process to determine gaps in care.

Abstract: Described herein is a control system that facilitates assistance mode(s). In particular, the control system may determine a particular assistance mode associated with an account. This particular assistance mode may specify (i) operations for an aerial vehicle to carry out in order to obtain sensor data providing environment information corresponding to a location associated with the account and (ii) feedback processes to provide feedback, via a feedback system associated with the account, that corresponds to respective environment information. The control system may transmit to the aerial vehicle an indication of the particular operations corresponding to the particular assistance mode and may then receive environment information for the location associated with the account. Based on the received environment information, the control system may apply the specified feedback processes to initiate feedback in accordance with the particular assistance mode via the associated feedback system.

Abstract: A host system reallocates resources in a virtual computing environment by first receiving a request to reallocate a first quantity of a first resource type. Next, potential trade-off groups are evaluated and a trade-off group is selected based on the evaluation. The selected trade-off group includes a set of applications running in the virtual computing environment that can use one or more alternate resource types as a substitute for the first quantity of the first resource type. After the selection, the host system reallocates the first quantity of the first resource type from the trade-off group. This reallocation may be made from the trade-off group to either a first application running in the virtual computing environment or the host system itself. If the reallocation is to the host system, then the total quantity of the first resource type allocated to applications running in the virtual computing environment is thereby reduced.

Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, articles of manufacture and computerized systems for identifying or alerting a user of certain data in electronic tax returns. A computerized tax return preparation system including a tax return preparation software application executed by a computing device receives first and second tax data and populates respective fields of the electronic tax return. The system executes a predictive model such as logistic regression, naive bayes, K-means clustering, clustering, k-nearest neighbor, and neural networks. First tax data is an input into the predictive model, which generates an output, which is compared with second tax data. An alert is generated when the second tax data does not satisfy pre-determined criteria relative to the first output generated by the predictive model. The same or other predictive model may be used as additional tax data is received for subsequent tax data analysis.

The onboard diagnostic data may be compatible with the OBD-II standard.

Embodiments may process large amounts of data from a plurality of different database sources in order to detect events common to the data of the different database sources. Abstract: A computer-implemented method for receipt management includes receiving, using a mobile wallet stored on a mobile device of a user, receipts that include a record of transactions between the user and one or more merchants, the transactions being performed using the mobile wallet account of the user. The method includes receiving receipts for transactions that were not performed using the mobile wallet account of the user, the receipts being received from a user e-mail address, the receipts for non-mobile wallet transactions being received by the mobile wallet of the user. One or more suggested actions or score improvement strategies may be suggested to facilitate improvement of a security score for a user. Friction management may be provided by having one or more additional layers of security applied to an account of a user or an entity based on suspicious behavior or other factors.

One or more text fields represented in image data that represents an electronic document are compared to data from a first external system. If the one or more text fields represented in the image data match the data from the first external system, then the electronic document is designated as verified. The approach also includes the ability for a user to supplement image data with additional data, such as codes used by business organizations, and for automatic correction of errors in text fields using data maintained by the first external system.
