Participants of the system interact with others at a central server connected via a communications network. According to an embodiment, each participant plays a role of a potential lender, a potential renter, or both. As the items of a participant get rented more, the system rewards him so that he is able to rent more himself. In a certain embodiment, a point value system is used. The server computer maintains all required information as to which items are currently for rent (e.g., offers) and which items are currently being requested (e.g., bids), as well as all data pertinent to rentable items and participants. A rental transaction occurs when a certain preset criterion is met, and point values are adjusted at the beginning, at the end and/or in the middle of the rental period.

Abstract: An Internet based real estate transaction and release tracking system that insures deeds of trust, liens and other encumbrances are released in a timely manner after the lien holder has received payment for the underlying obligation. Based on information provided by an agent, such as an escrow agent or a settlement agent, the system creates a unique electronic record for each real estate transaction entered by the agent. The system receives update information, either automatically from other computers or via manual input from searchers, and uses this update information to track each real estate transaction. The system monitors the records and indicates when a lien holder has failed to release their lien after a statutory time period that begins after the passing of the settlement date. When the statutory time period has passed, the system generates a number of forms, including a demand letter. The demand letter is sent to the lien holder demanding them to release the lien.

Abstract: The present is directed to managing information from a legal party in response to one or more discovery questions presented by another legal party in a legal proceeding. A generated case profile for the legal proceeding is established, wherein the case profile includes information the legal proceeding and the legal parties. One or more discovery questions received from another legal party, for the legal party to answer, is identified. A first inquiry is displayed to the legal party via the user interface, wherein the first inquiry is associated with the selected one or more discovery questions. A first response is received from the legal party via the user interface, wherein the first response is associated with the information requested by the first inquiry. A discovery question response to at least one identified discovery question is generated, wherein the discovery question response includes at least the first response.

Abstract: Systems and methods automatically resolve outstanding arrest warrants. Users may login to an automated system and answer a series of questions from an adaptive questionnaire module. Based on the user's answers, a bargained for deal may be selected from a payout matrix module and presented to the user. The user may have the option of accepting or rejecting the proposed deal, and if the user accepts the proposed deal, the deal and other relevant information may be sent to a government official for further processing if necessary.

Abstract: A method and apparatus includes an app on a smartphone that assists a policy holder in transferring title of a damaged vehicle to an insurance company or other party by requesting that the user compare the title at hand to images of versions of vehicle titles, by requesting information on the names and number of owners on the title and whether any lienholders are named on the title. Instructions are sent to the user as to executing the title for transfer. The smartphone is used to photograph the executed title and the photos are uploaded for review. After review, the title with any changes requested by the reviewer is forwarded to the insurance company.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the electronic processing and monitoring of foreclosure litigation. The method allows users to inputted information related to a series of foreclosure cases. This inputted information is stored in a database. On-line court records are then automatically searched to gather records related to the foreclosure litigation. A comparison is made between the inputted and gathered information. Discrepancies between the two data sets can then be highlighted and corrected. The method also allows various rules to be applied to the gathered data. Based upon these rules, recommendations can be automatically generated regarding the progress of the litigation. The system allows law firms to mitigate risk on behalf of their clients and increase the speed by which foreclosure matters progress through the legal system.

Further, the method includes matching the response message with an expected response for certification by the user. Abstract: Methods and systems for assembling databases in multiple-party proceedings. Class members or their agents can file claims online using a computer network connected to the database. The online connection may be provided as a web site accessible through the Internet. Users file claims by submitting Identifying Information and Claim Information, both of which may be validated in order to prevent fraudulent or otherwise invalid claims. Class members may be provided with reference strings prior to filing the claim. The users are prompted to submit the reference strings when filing the claims for purposes of administration and to verify the authenticity of the filing. The filed claims are stored in a database which may be accessible to parties in the class action.

Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for electronically journaling notarial acts using a mobile device. The method includes capturing within a mobile application electronic evidence of the notarial act including, for example, date, time, GPS generated location, magnetic stripe reading (or 2d/3d/QR barcode scan) or image of a signer's government issued identification. The method also includes verifying the authenticity of the government identification and verifying the identity and physical presence before the notary of the individual whose signature is being notarized. The method also includes transmitting an encrypted version of the evidence from the mobile device to a web application, and verifying that the evidence has been stored electronically in a database in a non-modifiable, chronological—sequential manner that is retrievable and decryptable by the notary or other officially authorized parties.

Abstract: A system for detection of potential legal liability is presented. The system uses factual information that has triggered liability based on any number of legal theories, and compares the words expressing those facts to customer and employee communications in order to identify potential liability to an enterprise by reviewing of the enterprise's emails. The system generates seeding information based on the factual information and words expressing certain sentiments, and provides the seeding information to a document fracturing engine which scans the email archives and identifies emails with words that potentially give rise to a liability risk. The identified emails may then be reviewed by authorized personnel so that appropriate proactive and/or corrective action may be taken before the legal liability occurs.

For data acquisition, the tools interface with sources of data which, typically, do not offer an application programming interface (API) for non-human access to the data. The tools may execute routines to validate the acquired data to ensure its completeness and logical accuracy as well as enrich the data with data from other sources or data that is derived from the acquired data. The processed data is organized and transformed into specified end states and routed to appropriate recipients.

So, to facilitate this type of research, the present inventors devised systems, methods, and software that promise to improve the ability of researchers to find, verify, read, and/or interpret statutory information. One exemplary system provides options for users to access statutory information by citation, by table of contents, by index, and/or by popular name; presents specific statutory information in combination with visual indicators, such as red or yellow flags, that indicate the validity or status of the information; and provides requested statutory information in context of links to related information, such as tables of contents, other versions of a statute, case law, scholarly materials, legislative history, cross-referenced statutes, and administrative-law materials.

The method further includes generating a layout of postcard based on the QR code, the recipient data, and the sender data, printing the postcard, and mailing the postcard.

The negotiation management module receives the second proposals from the first and second negotiation modules, and generates third proposals according to the received proposals. The first and second negotiation agent modules respectively receive the third proposals, calculate PSs for received proposals using utility models, and arrange the third proposals in descending order according to PSs therewith to generate voting results. The negotiation management module receives the voting results, and generates a final agreement according to the received voting results.

Abstract: Organizations struggle to meet their obligation to preserve electronic documents when litigation occurs or is likely. This is particularly challenging in a hosted user environment using a distributed file system. Embodiments of the invention enable a user to preserve email, chats, text documents, and other electronic files in the native storage systems of these applications, or in a hosted eDiscovery archive that syncs with the native store. In an embodiment, the process uses a label to indicate that a particular document should not be deleted. When purging tasks occur, the documents with such labels are exempt from purging until the label is removed. Search queries may also be run on the documents in their native locations to identify those relevant to a litigation hold. Because the system operates on the native document store, a user is not required to create a copy of the document in order to preserve it.

Accurate affected lists are constructed for an ongoing or impending litigation. Affected people, systems, or record types are included at first, and the list is modified over time once their exact association to the litigation context is clarified (new ones are added, not required are removed). Automation of data capture eliminates the risk of human error during data entry. Conflict resolution is applied when the same person, system, or record type is identified in the request scope, as part of multiple affiliations and associations. Overlapping lists are automatically merged to enable simple and efficient processing, without having to cull different lists. Affected elements in the request scope that could otherwise be missed are tracked and added.

Abstract: A cenotaph memorial facility comprising a plurality of walls containing crypts is dedicated to an honoree who is not interred within the facility. The facility may comprise a large external memorial structure to protect the walls and individual crypts. The cenotaph memorial facility includes a plurality of video cameras to permit remote viewing of various portions of the facility. The video cameras are controlled by a computer system that allows remote access via a network, such as the internet. An individual enters authorization data and, upon authorization, can remotely view one or more portions of the facility. An on-line auction processor can automatically conduct auctions of selected articles using a timed auction over a prolonged bidding period or a real-time auction. In another aspect, a virtual reality (VR) image capture system captures images that may be remotely viewed using VR technology. This may include 3-D imaging, holographic imaging, or the like.
