Abstract: Features are disclosed for a dynamic security seal indicating a security of an application. A computing device can receive a request to implement a dynamic security seal for an application. The computing device can validate a relationship between an entity and the application and between an image and the application. Based on validating these relationships, the computing device can generate a dynamic security seal. When implemented, the dynamic security seal may display a plurality of faces. A face of the plurality of faces may be the image. The dynamic security seal can sequentially display the plurality of faces based on various criteria.

Abstract: A display device establishes a secure communications session with a mobile device and receives an image-based item associated with a unique cryptographic token. The display device determines, based on metadata parsed from the unique cryptographic token, authenticity information and chain-of-ownership information for the cryptographic token. In response to determining that user account information for the secure communications session corresponds to an item included in the chain-of-ownership information, the display device displays the image-based item, and an indicator component of the display device provides an indication of authenticity for the image-based item.

Abstract: A method for managing secure processing of electronic payment transactions includes receiving a request submitted by a merchant computing system for a security verifier. The security verifier is to be displayed on an electronic display associated with the merchant computing system. A set of security credentials received from a security service provider is measured against a security threshold. When the set of security credentials meets the security threshold, a uniform resource locator (“URL”) is transmitted to the merchant computing system. The URL identifies the security verifier to be retrieved and displayed at the electronic display associated with the merchant computing system.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing authentication of dispensed prescriptions include utilizing one or more authenticator indicia, wherein the authenticator indicia have a plurality of indicia components including unique identification number for associating a dose of medication in a database. The authenticator indicia are configured on dose containers, such as blister packs and pill packs, to be scannable by a third-party scanning tool. The scanned information can be received by an authentication communication system to establish authenticity and other information such as adherence and compliance information related to the dispensed prescriptions.

Techniques include identifying a prompt to change a first version of code on a controller to a second version of code; constructing, based on the identified prompt, a line-of-code behavior and relation model representing execution of functions of the controller based on the second version of code; performing a signature operation on the generated line-of-code behavior and relation model to produce a signature value; and sending the signature value to the controller; wherein the controller is configured to compare the signature value to a computed signature value that the controller is configured to compute based on the second version of code and determine, based on the comparison, whether to validate the second version of code.

The registration process involves associating the numbered card with the article's label. Registration is only permitted if the numbered card and the label's identifier code are not associated with a previously sold article. This process thwarts the potential sale of counterfeit articles to purchasers.

In one aspect, a method comprises receiving, at an authenticating device from a terminal device, a request to generate a dataset, the request comprising a plurality of data object values indicative of transaction information. The method comprises generating, based on the plurality of data object values, a transaction comprising a source identifier, a destination identifier, a transaction value, and authorization data in a form of a digital signature. The method comprises encapsulating and embedding either the at least one portion of the transaction or the symmetric encryption key in the discretionary data fields and transmitting the dataset to the terminal device that forwards the transaction to a processing service configured to reconstruct the transaction from the forwarded dataset and process the transaction in a target ledger.

Groups of fragments may be combined to generate a unique stream by pulling fragments from two or more of the groups of fragments. Further, fragmenting may be performed before watermarking, and fragments may be pulled and watermarked upon request.

Abstract: This is directed to providing access to content stored on a local cloud. In particular, a device can direct a librarian service overseeing the operation of a local cloud to provide another device with access to content stored on the local cloud. The librarian service can generate credentials for the other device, and provide the credentials to the other device. Using the credentials, the other device can connect directly to the local cloud and access the content. In addition, the local cloud can validate the credentials of the other before providing access to the content. The credentials can include, for example, a key to install or load on the device. The librarian may not require, however, the user to create credentials or register with the librarian before being permitted to access the content on the local cloud.

The first payment data is tokenized into a payment token, and provided to the merchant for use in completing the cashless transaction. The payment token is detokenized into second payment data, with correspondence between the first and second payment data being indicative of payment token authenticity. Payment for the cashless transaction is processed using the second payment data, and the merchant is provided with a response indicating either the success or failure of the payment processing.

The method further includes receiving the web page, and verifying the authenticity of the web page using the negotiated watermarking algorithm. Also disclosed herein is a method for enabling dynamic watermarking on a server which includes determining a negotiated watermarking algorithm that identifies at least one location on a web page for a placed watermark, receiving a request for a web page from a client, and identifying the client. The method further includes creating the requested web page using the negotiated watermarking algorithm providing a generated web page, and providing the generated web page to the client. A computer program product is also disclosed herein.

Abstract: A system is provided for inside-to-outside or outside-to-inside cryptographic coding that facilitates product authentication along a distribution channel. An association of authenticated, secured codes is generated between inner items (e.g., pharmaceutical doses such as pills, capsules, tablets) and outer items (e.g., packaging containing inner items). For instance, an inner code associated with a first item is used to generate (at least partially) an outer code associated with a second item that contains one or more first items. This process may be repeated multiple times with codes for outer items being a function of codes for inner items. The sequence of items may be authenticated by the dependent relationship between their codes.

Abstract: A system and method for filming and discovering videos for users may include receiving an instructional video of an event from a content provider. The instructional video includes portions of a first video stream with images at an eye level of an instructor and portions of a second video stream with close-up shots related to a concept being taught during the event. It is determined whether the instructional video includes a title sequence, an introduction, a lesson, a recap, and a conclusion. If the instructional video fails to contain the title sequence, the introduction, the lesson, the recap, and the conclusion, a rejection of the instructional video is provided that includes an explanation. If the instructional video contains the title sequence, the introduction, the lesson, the recap, and the conclusion, the instructional video is stored in a video database.

Abstract: Methods and systems for securing code in a reprogrammable security system are provided and may comprise detecting when a prior version of code is copied over a subsequent version of code. Operations within the system may be controlled based upon detection of the prior version of code. A unique version identifier may be associated with each successive version of code. The system may compare instances of unique version identifier from varied storage mechanisms on a device which may include flash memory, latch memory and one time programmable memory. The same instances of unique version identifier may be compared with a unique version identifier instance independently received from an external entity. When a comparison reveals a prior version of code copied over a subsequent version of code the system may conduct operations specified for a security breach.

The method includes the steps of accessing a central processing environment, requesting at least one recording of at least a portion of an audio transmission generated from a communication device, generating at least one audio asset, adding the audio asset to a pool of related assets stored in a vault connected to the central processing environment, selecting the generated audio asset and at least one other related asset from the pool of related assets to form a creative, then requesting delivery of the creative to another communication device, and finally delivering the creative to the other communication device. The method is performed in part by a creative composition engine, which is also described. The engine includes a central processing environment having a processor, a digital recorder and a digital asset storage vault.

Abstract: Unauthorized uses of embedded objects in websites are detected, in order to protect users from phishing sites using cloned copies of such objects. Authorized parties register objects for use at legitimate locations (e.g., specific IP address ranges or domains). When a client computing device accesses a website, the objects in the website are checked against the registered objects, to determine whether the objects are registered for use by the site being accessed. Depending upon trust status information concerning the objects, the access of the website can be permitted or blocked, or the user can be warned about questionable or un-trusted embedded objects. Additionally, the party that registered an object can be notified, in the case of an indication of unauthorized use of the object by a website.

Abstract: An enhanced metadata structure and associated process is provided which captures and stores metadata gathered about the source and usage of a media asset or file. The source and usage metadata is integrated, such as by encoding within the enhanced media file, as the media asset is transferred and used. The integrated metadata accumulates, as a trail of source information and usage information in the enhanced media asset, and can be extracted upon arrival at a target computer system.

An estimation is made of a first most probable sequence of latent evidence probability vectors generating the first-sized audio snippet of the query audio stream. An estimation is made of a second most probable sequence of latent evidence probability vectors generating the first-sized audio snippet of the database audio stream. A similarity is measured between the first sequence and the second sequence producing a score of relatedness between the two snippets. Finally a relatedness is determined between the query video and a database video.

Then, each system can sort the unique hash identifiers to identify each system.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for upgrades and synchronization of applications installed on a device, such as a mobile device. In one embodiment, a device may include applications purchased and downloaded via a content management system. The device maintains a list or database of applications that are authorized for each device. This list is also replicated in a remote cache that is maintained by an archive host. The device may then synchronize and upgrade these applications across multiple platforms, such as one or more computers that can be coupled to the device or the archive host. The archive host allows for files of the application be provided back to the device. Upon installation, the device can then confirm the authorization and identity of the newly installed application.

Abstract: An optimized server for streamed applications provides a streamed application server optimized to provide efficient delivery of streamed applications to client systems across a computer network such as the Internet. The server persistently stores streamed application program sets that contain streamed application file pages. Client systems request streamed application file pages from the server using a unique set of numbers common among all servers that store the particular streamed application file pages. A license server offloads the streamed application server by performing client access privilege validations. Commonly accessed streamed application file pages are stored in a cache on the streamed application server which attempts to retrieve requested streamed application file pages from the cache before retrieving them from persistent storage. Requested streamed application file pages are compressed before being sent to a client as well as those stored in the cache.

The method includes determining input power data points based on real-time input torque data. The input torque data includes a maximum input torque. The method also includes calculating a gear step value based on the first gear ratio and second gear ratio. The method further includes determining a first power value and computing a second power value based on the gear step value. The first power value and second power value are compared to one another and adjustments are incrementally made in the first power value speed until the difference between first and second power values meets a threshold. The shift point is therefore based on the result of comparing the first power value and the second power value and the corresponding speed associated with the first power value.

Abstract: Systems and methods for site-dependent embedded media playback manipulation whereby a media owner can enable limited embedding on non-owned or non-monetized websites to direct traffic to a more valuable location. The content owner can specify sets of internet locations with associated sets of rules governing content playback criteria as well as restrictions based upon user categorizations. A playback restriction system consists of a media delivery system and a playback rules system. The media delivery system controls the delivery of the media file with embedded restrictions. The playback rules system controls the nature of the restrictions and the rules of when they are applied. Users will be directed to the location of a more valuable website where the media can be viewed with a less restrictive set of rules.
