Resource Planning In A Project Environment Patents (Class 705/7.23)
  • Patent number: 11954795
Abstract: A method and related software are disclosed for processing imagery related to three dimensional models. To display new visual data for select portions of images, an image of a physical structure such as a building with a façade is retrieved with an associated three dimensional model for that physical structure according to common geolocation tags. A scaffolding of surfaces composing the three dimensional model is generated and regions of the retrieved image are registered to the surfaces of the scaffolding to create mapped surfaces for the image. New image data such as texture information is received and applied to select mapped surfaces to give the retrieved image the appearance of having the new texture data at the selected mapped surface.

Abstract: A machine is configured to automatically order consumable items for an account. For example, the machine accesses image input associated with a consumable item. The image input is recorded by a camera associated with a client device. The machine identifies an account based on an identifier of the client device. The machine determines a level of consumption of the consumable item for the account based on the image input. The machine, based on the level of consumption, automatically places an order for the consumable item, for the account. The machine, in response to the automatic placing of the order, causes display of a notification describing the automatically placed order in a user interface of the client device. A selection of the notification describing the automatically placed order for the consumable item causes display of an automatically generated request to specify a schedule of future automatic orders for the consumable item.

  • Patent number: 11900430
Abstract: A buy-online pickup-in-store (BOPIS) order at risk of abandonment is saved by converting the order to same-day delivery. A risk deadline is established using a combination of cognitive prediction, a customer-specific time frame, order constraints, and real-time data. The cognitive prediction uses a customer profile having historical data pertaining to previous BOPIS orders from this customer. If the product is not picked up by the risk deadline, a check is made to see if same-day delivery is feasible. If so, a notification is transmitted to the customer with proposed delivery details. The notification can be sent at an optimal time based on previous notifications sent to the customer and time constraints related to the order, and using an optimal communication channel based on previous engagement rates with the customer over different communication channels. Once confirmation is received from the customer, the product is shipped, saving the sale.

  • Patent number: 11880712
Abstract: In a computing resource environment including at least one resource capable of being allocated to at least one of a plurality of tasks, techniques are disclosed for applying a taint to a resource in a computing resource environment, the taint being configured to prevent the resource from being claimed for a resource request without a toleration to that taint. Variations include receiving, at a resource scheduler in the resource environment, a request to allocate the resource to perform a particular task and determining whether the resource is subject to a taint. If the resource is subject to a taint, analyzing the request to determine if it includes a toleration for the taint. If the request includes a toleration for the taint, allocating the resource to the task. If the request does not include a toleration for the taint, not allocating the resource due to the taint.

Abstract: In some aspects, a computing system may use time series data and machine learning to determine an efficient time to send data to a blockchain. A machine learning model may use a variety of blockchain related data to predict a network usage costs for different times in the future. The predicted network usage costs may be used to determine when data should be sent for storing on the blockchain to reduce network resource costs for a computing system. For example, based on inputting the blockchain data into the machine learning model, a computing system may generate output indicating network usage costs for a future time period, with each network usage cost corresponding to a timestamp within the future time period. The computing system may determine a minimum network usage cost of the network usage costs and send data to a node in the blockchain network at the corresponding timestamp.

Abstract: A system includes persistent storage configured to store definitions of interfaces of remote software applications, and a software application configured to define the interfaces. The software application identifies a remote software application system by which the remote software applications are exposed for execution, and obtains therefrom a specification of a particular remote software application. The software application determines, based on the specification, (i) objects accessible by way of the particular remote software application and (ii) functions invokable to interact with the objects. The software application generates actions that define an interface for the particular remote software application. Each action is configured to invoke execution of one or more of the functions by transmitting a request to the remote software application system and, in response, receive, by way of the remote software application system, an output of the one or more of the functions.

  • Patent number: 11227282
Abstract: The disclosure relates to executing time bound activity chains using a baseline blockchain that encodes milestones and a realized blockchain that tracks activity relating to the milestones encoded on the baseline blockchain. Each project managed by the system may be scheduled using its own baseline blockchain, which stores time-bounded activity chains that encode milestones for that project. The realized blockchain stores performance related activity that validates and stores information indicating performance of actions related to milestones and automated transfer of value through the use of smart contracts. Each block of the realized blockchain not only references a prior block of the realized blockchain but also a corresponding baseline block, which encodes a milestone, in the baseline blockchain. Thus activity relating to progress toward a milestone may be recorded on a realized block, which refers back to a baseline block that specifies the milestone.

Abstract: Method and system embodiments for assessing control maturity in security operations environments are described. According to some embodiments, the method facilitates a nonintrusive, automated means to configure and detect security controls installed in an Information Technology (IT) environment. The system verifies that these controls function as expected over a specified period of time and then maps each security control to a cell in a matrix of operational functions crossed with asset classes. The system captures metrics for security control activity that are displayed in the matrix to facilitate an assessment of security control architectural maturity. The system automatically generates visual and textual reports that provide recommendations to improve cybersecurity by enhancing existing and adding new controls, specify a suggested timeline for introducing those controls, and document gaps in compliance.
