The process includes generating a first set of program code based on the entity identifier, the value, the second set of information, and the third set of information.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing queries of a graph database. During operation, the system stores intermediate results of the query in a structure comprising rows in a set of tables and links between pairs of rows in different tables in the set of tables. Next, the system tracks, in the structure, representations of data, relationships, and path consistency in the query. The system then applies one or more operations to existing rows in the structure to generate a final result of the query. Finally, the system provides the final result in a response to the query.

Abstract: A system and method to monitor individual appliance performance. A monitor module is provided for aggregating data from a plurality of appliances wherein the module includes. Included in the monitor device is a gateway device configured to capture operational data relating to each of the plurality of appliances and an analyzing device configured to determine individual operational characteristics for each of the appliances from analysis of the captured operational data. A notification device is further provided which is configured to provide information to a user regarding the determined operational characteristics for each of the appliances.

Abstract: Co-clustering of at least some parameters is employed to reduce data transferred between edge and cloud resources. Single-parameter cluster information, including cluster counts, for each of two or more parameters of interest is accessed. Each parameter may represent a time series of numeric values sent from an IoT unit to an edge device. A co-clustering ratio is determined for each unique parameter pair. The co-clustering ratio indicates whether the number of clusters produced by a co-clustering algorithm applied to a group of parameters is less than the number of clusters required to represent the parameters without co-clustering. Co-cluster groups may be identified based on the cluster ratios. For each co-cluster group, the co-clustering algorithm may be invoked to produce compressed encodings of numeric value tuples. The compressed encoding is then transmitted to a cloud computing resource and decoded into a tuple of surrogate values.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for automated semantic tagging that include detecting a particular thread executed by a processor and identifying a root process of the particular thread. An object-process link may be by linking an object that executed code that called the particular thread to the root process. A thread list of thread definitions of the object may be identified. A particular thread definition that corresponds to the particular thread can be mapped. Resource types to be consumed upon executing an instance of the thread instantiated from the particular thread definition can be identified and the corresponding values of the resource types can be determined. A process specification can be generated that encapsulates the thread definition, resource types and values so as to reproduce a state of the root process at a point in which the particular thread executed.

Abstract: The current document is directed to a dimensional shuffle transform (“DST”) that maps a 3D space to a one-dimensional space that preserves 3D neighborhoods within 1D neighborhoods within an implicit recursive hierarchical structure. The search for points in a 3D subspace is reduced, by the DST, to one or more searches in the transformed 1D space. The search is performed by either recursive decomposition of the 3D region indexed by the transform into subspaces, exploiting the transformed space structure, or by direct indexing into the region of interest. The searches over the subspaces generated by recursive decomposition are independent from one another, providing many opportunities for a variety of parallel, DST-enabled search methods.

Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to providing efficient and fast invocation of concurrent sheet defined functions (SDFs) including dynamic arrays by front-loading the work. At SDF creation time, a SDF cell table, a formula table, and a spill area table are generated. The SDF cell table represents cells from a worksheet that are used for the SDF. The formula table comprises an index of formulas used by the SDF, whereby index identifiers are stored in cells of the SDF cell table. The spill area table comprises an index of spill areas where each dynamic array may automatically spill into. The SDF cell table, formula table, and spill area table are shared between a plurality of invocations of the SDF during invocation time.

Abstract: Technologies are provided for reformulation of a tail query to a head query with the same purchase intent by mapping the tail query to the head query. In some of the technologies, a reasonable embedding can be learned on historical head queries. The embedding can then be refined by leveraging rewards generated from a persistently noisy oracle that compensates for the lack of historical behavioral signal for tail queries. Further, a contextual sampling technique that uses text-based rewards or oracle-based rewards, or both, can be implemented in order to avoid biases introduced by persistent noise in the oracle. Numerical experiments on large scale e-commerce datasets demonstrate that the provided technologies can outperform several conventional approaches to query reformulation.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to visio-linguistic understanding. Conventional methods use contextual visio-linguistic reasoner for visio-linguistic understanding which requires more compute power and large amount of pre-training data. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for visio-linguistic understanding using contextual language model reasoner. The method converts the visual information of an input image into a format that the contextual language model reasoner understands and accepts for a downstream task. The method utilizes the image captions and confidence score associated with the image captions along with a knowledge graph to obtain a combined input in a format compatible with the contextual language model reasoner. Contextual embeddings corresponding to the downstream task is obtained using the combined input. The disclosed method is used to solve several downstream tasks such as scene understanding, visual question answering, visual common-sense reasoning and so on.

Abstract: A system for size and fitting recommendation for fashion products is provided. The system includes a memory having computer readable instructions stored therein. The system further includes a processor configured to access purchase and content data of one or more fashion products purchased by a plurality of users. The processor is configured to generate an observable feature vector for each of the one or more fashion products. The observable feature vector is generated based upon observable features data corresponding to each of the one or more fashion product. The processor is further configured to aggregate the observable feature vectors of the fashion products purchased by each user to compute an observable user vector for the respective user. In addition, the processor is further configured to generate a latent feature vector for each of the one or more fashion products. The latent feature vector is generated based upon latent features data corresponding to each fashion product.

Abstract: The “free world replication protocol” makes use of client computing resources, wherein the clients are not part of the replicated key-value store, but instead reside in the “free world” outside of the dedicated resources of the nodes of the replicated key-value store. In the free world replication protocol, only a single “write” client is authorized to modify the key-value store at any time but any number of clients may be authorized to read data from the key-value store. The write client sends its transactions to multiple nodes in the replicated key-value store. As a result, the latency between the transaction being sent from the client and the transaction being received by the multiple nodes is reduced. A consensus protocol, driven by a master node, is used to periodically ensure consistency, but the data transactions themselves do not make use of a master node.

Abstract: In various implementations, streams are sent and received by a computing device engaged in an authoring session with respect to an electronic document. The computing device stores the streams in multiple container files associated with an instance of the electronic document open on the computing device. The device maintains an indices file to reflect a presence of the streams in the container files, such that fast access can be provided to the streams at a later time. The indices file comprises multiple probabilistic data structures corresponding to the container files that each indicate on a probabilistic basis whether a given stream is present in a corresponding one of the container files. The computing device uses the indices file to retrieve the streams from the container files.

Abstract: A system for retrieving products in response to a customer query includes a computing device configured to obtain query information characterizing a query initiated by the customer on an ecommerce marketplace and to determine embedding-based search results comprising a first list of items. The computing device is also configured to send the blended search results to the customer.

Abstract: A content generation computing system includes content generating application logic. The content generating application logic runs a content generation application to generate content. Content ingestion and transformation logic allows a user to identify content from a source document for ingestion into a document that is being generated. The system semantically restructures the ingested content based upon the content generation application into which it is being ingested and maintains a link from the ingested content to the source document and automatically updates the generated content when the content in the source document, that is ingested, changes.

Abstract: Methods and systems for displaying information sets in determined orders are described. The information sets comprise vehicle service information. An order of information set identifiers associated with the information sets is based on vehicle identifying information of a subset of vehicles, and an additional search term comprising a symptom identifier and/or a vehicle component identifier of a component located on the vehicles. The information set identifiers of the group can be arranged according to a hierarchy of information set identifiers. The information sets are output to a vehicle service tool (VST) that displays the information sets. The VST can provide feedback data indicative of whether any aspect of an information set was selected while displayed. A server can aggregate feedback data received from multiple instances of displaying the information sets and determine a modified order for at least some of the information set identifiers of the previously determined group.

A specific implementation of the method in the present application lies in: acquiring a user feature and an item feature, where both the user feature and the item feature include click through rate information; determining a degree of similarity between the user feature and the item feature; determining, according to the degree of similarity, item information that is recalled; and pushing the item information to a user terminal. According to the present application, item information having a high click through rate may be acquired through a one-channel recall approach, so that information push efficiency is improved and the pushed item information better conforms to user needs.

Abstract: A system for migrating a non-tenant-aware local application to a tenant-aware cloud application environment is disclosed to migrate individual modules of the application to instances of the cloud by grouping the modules via common characteristics in partition groups. By grouping modules together by partition group before migrating the modules to cloud instances, modules that share resources can be placed in closer logical proximity to one another in the cloud, modified, or deleted to optimize performance. The information from these modules is processed to create a visualization graph representing information on the cloud. The visualization graph is preferably multilayered so it can display information from different hierarchical layers of a cloud instance.
