Patent number: 11784969Abstract: Systems and methods are described for secure data extraction through a private network. A data extraction application may operate behind a firewall on a client system. Application state information may be automatically gathered and sent by the data extraction application upon the data extraction application being awakened at a predetermined time. A remote system outside of a firewall may determine commands to return to the data extraction application that include one or more query parameters, and then send the commands to the data extraction application. The remote system may then obtain, from the client system behind the firewall or from a data store outside of the firewall, results of the data extraction application executing a query with the provided query parameters injected therein, where the query was executed by the data extraction application with respect to one or more files located behind the firewall.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 2021Date of Patent: October 10, 2023Assignee: Phrase Health, Inc.Inventor: Marc Tobias

Patent number: 8954480Abstract: An end-to-end interoperability and workflows from building architecture design to one or more simulations, in one aspect, may comprise establishing a BIM enablement platform architecture. A data model defines data entities and entity relationships for enabling the interoperability and workflows. A data definition language may be implemented that defines and creates a table schema of a database associated with the data model. Data management services and/or application programming interfaces may be implemented for interacting with the data model. Web services may also be provided for interacting with the data model via the Web. A user interface may be implemented that communicates with users and uses the BIM enablement platform architecture, the data model, the data definition language, data management services and application programming interfaces to provide functions to the users to perform work related to building information management.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2012Date of Patent: February 10, 2015Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Tian-Jy Chao, Younghun Kim

Patent number: 8949292Abstract: Automatically translating a building architecture file format (Industry Foundation Class) to a simulation file, in one aspect, may extract data and metadata used by a target simulation tool from a building architecture file. Interoperability data objects may be created and the extracted data is stored in the interoperability data objects. A model translation procedure may be prepared to identify a mapping from a Model View Definition to a translation and transformation function. The extracted data may be transformed using the data stored in the interoperability data objects, an input Model View Definition template, and the translation and transformation function to convert the extracted data to correct geometric values needed for a target simulation file format used by the target simulation tool. The simulation file in the target simulation file format may be generated.Type: GrantFiled: October 10, 2012Date of Patent: February 3, 2015Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Tian-Jy Chao, Younghun Kim

Patent number: 8892582Abstract: A method and system and related computer program products are described for identifying an object of service comprising the initial step of generating and storing a static composite identifier representing a state of the object of service. Then, whenever it is desired to identify the object of service, the steps are carried out of: generating a dynamic composite identifier representing a current state of the object of service; locating and retrieving the stored static composite identifier, and searching a database for a match with an object of service recorded therein using either the static or the dynamic composite identifiers, or both.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2005Date of Patent: November 18, 2014Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.Inventors: Brian Cox, Brian Murphy

Patent number: 8793292Abstract: A system and computer-implemented method for tracking and displaying computer files used in computer simulations of engineered or industrial process plants. The system includes a computer processor, computer readable medium, and control logic stored on the computer readable medium and executed by the processor. The processor is operative to run the computer simulation of the plant and automatically compiles a list of all files used and/or created during the simulation. In one embodiment, the list includes information about the location/path of each file on the system and its associated software program required to open and view the file contents. The list may further be displayed to a system user and allows the selection of one or more files to be viewed. The processor retrieves, opens, and displays the selected files from the system to the user.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2009Date of Patent: July 29, 2014Assignee: Lockheed Martin CorporationInventors: Rao Y. Patent number: 8515989Abstract: A dynamic system and a method for locating and obtaining patient information in real-time is provided. The system generally comprises an order in the form of a query; a document management and storage system (DMSS); at least one tool that is capable of sending the query to a server in order to retrieve available information; a communication channel; and a data collection and conversion system (DCCS). The DMSS includes both an application processor and a tool processor designed to manage and control the storage of electronic documents through the use of an application program that includes functionality for selecting the tool and authenticating the order.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2011Date of Patent: August 20, 2013Inventor: Ronald E.
