Abstract: Embodiments enable searching of portions of objects in images, including programmatically analyzing each image in a collection in order to determine image data that, for individual images in the collection, represents one or more visual characteristics of a portion of an object shown in that image. A user is enabled to specify one or more search criteria that includes image data, and a search result may be determined based on one or more images in the collection that show a corresponding object that has a portion that satisfies a threshold. The threshold is defined at least in part by the one or more search criteria.

Abstract: Methods and computer systems are provided managing and valuating inventory. In one embodiment, a computer system may assign every item of goods which is entering a working process to an identifier. The computer system may then track the goods in the working process. Further, the computer system may update a given identifier when the goods assigned to this identifier enter another stage in the working process, assign at least one price to each stage in the working process, determine the content of one or more identifiers, and calculate a price for goods in the working process.

In response, sizing data for the user is accessed. Using the sizing data, content from a marketplace matching the sizing data and the search parameters are determined. Abstract: A method and system for customer-choice-based bundling of product options collects data from previous orders about customer component choices, computes a pairwise distance between any pair of components that capture how much the probability of a choice pair P(a.b) deviates from the expected probability under the null hypothesis of independence P(a)*P(b), and clusters the components. The methodology can be implemented as instructions implemented in a computer readable medium. In this way, the need for a method to permit bundles of product options to be configured through the use of business processes reflecting choices based on the preferences of customers rather than the preferences of product designers is fulfilled.

Abstract: Select portions of product channel data collected by a product channel participant and stored in a data warehouse are periodically extracted based on a previously determined template. The extracted subset of product channel data is thereafter transformed so that the format of the data complies with that of the requesting enterprise. Once transformed, one or more rule sets is applied to the subset of transformed data to guarantee that the information complies with requirements set forth by the enterprise yet does not violate any disclosure rules of the product channel participant. Thereafter and on a scheduled basis, the transformed and validated data is delivered to a delivery server from which the enterprise can retrieve the data at its convenience.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for tracking the effectiveness of a modification that has been installed into a product in response to an issued modification notice. A product removal database having removal data stored therein that are associated with one or more products is periodically accessed at a user-specified periodicity. One or more user-selected fix-effectiveness algorithms are executed to determine if at least a portion of the periodically accessed removal data matches one or more user-specified keywords that correlate to the modification. If it is determined that at least a portion of the periodically accessed removal data matches the one or more user-specified keywords, then an alert is transmitted to a preset destination.

Abstract: The claimed subject matter relates to an architecture that can facilitate auditing of a customer's possessions in a comprehensive manner. The architecture can facilitate the creation of a media archive of a customer's property, as well as an associated property list extracted based upon, e.g., examination of the archive. The property list can include an entry associated with an item of property and can be transmitted to subsidizing entities to offset the expenses associated with the creation of the archive and the property list.

Abstract: In a first general aspect, a computer program product tangibly embodied in an information carrier is described. The computer program product includes instructions that, when executed, perform operations for identifying a source or destination for stock. The operations include receiving an electronic request to determine a source or destination for stock, identifying, using a primary rule, a logistic area database object that represents a storage location at one of multiple levels of a hierarchy of storage locations. The logistic area database object is associated with a value that indicates an amount of stock that is associated with the storage location. The operations also include transmitting an identifier specifying the logistic area database object if the value indicates that associated storage location is available as a source or destination. The identifier is used to assign the storage location as the source or destination for the stock.

Abstract: A customer search terminal system may be configured to accept customer product searches and identify corresponding products and product information. A method for determining the efficacy of the customer search terminal may include receiving customer usage information including data related to customer usage of a customer search terminal and may also include receiving product sales information including data related to products sold at a point-of-sale terminal. The method may further include generating customer purchase behavior information by correlating the received customer search terminal usage information with the received product sales information when a product is sold at the point-of-sale terminal within a prescribed time period relative to a search for the product on the customer search terminal.
